  1. Janet, Big K, and I will have to come see her once you guys are all settled in and stuff.
  2. Looks like I will continue renting my Reynoldsburg property. Home values all through there have tanked due to so many foreclosures. I was willing to sell at a loss but I don't think I can even do that now.
  3. I have had the watch for a little over two weeks now. Upon getting it and doing some research, I came to find out it is NOT a leather band, but a synthetic (rubber) band. Amazon and a number of other places have it listed wrong - this watch isn't offered with a leather band. I'm not in love with the synthetic band, but it's not bad, and comfortable enough. I love the look of the watch and it wears well. The price was right. My wife also gave me my birthday presents Saturday evening (though my b-d is the 21st). One of the things she got me was this watch: Invicta Men's 7208 Signature Collection Mechanical Skeleton Watch It looks a LOT better in person. The black around the face isn't nearly that dark and looks really good. The inside is more gold than yellow in person, and looks sweet. I still need to buy a sizing tool so I can remove two links.
  4. The sunroof switch in my Avalanche shit the bed today (had to jump the wire to close the sunroof). I need a part number and price. My power mirror switch (the 4-way up/down/left/right round deal) is also in need of replacement. #/price for that would also be appreciated. And just curious (I am sure I will have to junk yard this item), driver's side mirror (mine somehow got damaged at the bottom and leaked the auto-dim fluid). Black, power, heater, no signal, puddle lamp, auto-dim.
  5. There is seriously no aftermarket cam options for those motors? I figured Comp or Crane would offer something, or at least some small shop would offer at least some sort of grind for that motor.
  6. They can rebuild their own shit. Can't get stuff from their suppliers - set up shop here in the US and use US suppliers.
  7. Eck. I didn't even know what a Ford Flex was...I don't think there will ever be a point in my life where I would want to consider something like that. It looks like an ugly crossover IMO.
  8. The kit overall looks good, but I wouldn't do a big buy-in for them, especially seeing how steep the prices are for the components.
  9. Overpriced. I watched a nearly identical Supra go for under 22k last year. It is in the league of what I am looking for and I would consider it for a lot less money. I disagree with now being the best time - the selection now isn't all that. I watched pretty much all of last year, and around August / September were when I saw the best prices. Saw a few in the fall that were good too - once winter hit, zero deals. I also found people generally want too much for Moombas, even through they are basically a discounted Supra. How about someone just give me a Mastercraft X55 and we can call it a day.
  10. Nope, but I could imagine myself saying that.
  11. I'd be interested in yours for a few thousand less. I saw a few 03-05 X-2's and a couple early X-1's last year for similar money (they are the continued hull from your boat when Mastercraft updated the X-Star). Nothing local, as there usually isn't, but I'm expecting to travel. Almost all of the locals I saw last year were Malibus with owners wanting crack head money for them. If you end up wanting to drop the price some, I may be game. There isn't much on the market right now in general, but it will start booming in April (it did last year). I will likely end up in a 23' 05-07 Centurion, as those were going for some very reasonable prices last year for clean, lower hour boats. I also saw a few jaw dropping deals in the Cinncy and northern Kentucky area last year too on some other brands.
  12. Personally, I wouldn't offer more than $200 for your average 16GB WiFi model, maybe up to $250 for a mint, 2 month old or less unit.
  13. Well, things are getting paid off, getting a fat tax return – time to upgrade boats. THIS MUST BE A WAKEBOARD BOAT. Not some stern drive with a tower slapped onto it. A true V-drive wakeboard boat (I-drive / direct drives are NOT wakeboard boats – those are ski boats no matter how much the owners want you to think otherwise). Requirements (I will not budge on any of these): - 2000 or newer, though there are very few pre-2000 wakeboard boats out there, so that’s easy. - Fuel injected, but very few are carbed, so again easy. - Tower, but that’s a given - Integrated ballast tanks. Minimum of rear tank, would prefer multiple - $25,000 or less - Good condition. No major repairs needed. Anything major needs to be at a significant discount in price – I need a boat, not a project. - Within 300 miles of Central Ohio (may be flexible on this if I can’t find anything local in the next 2 months) Preferences (wants, but not deal breakers): - 22’ or bigger - Dual or triple axle trailer with fold in tongue - Decent sound system, with tower speakers/lights - Good color combo - Perfect Pass, or something similar - Under 300 hours - LSx based motor (this I would even consider going slightly over budget for) - 2005 or newer - Heater - Mastercraft, Malibu, Ski Nautique, Supra, and MB Sports are preferred brands, though I’m open to others like Centurion, Gekko, Moomba, etc. If you know of any around that meet what I am looking for, please send me info, post a link, etc.
  14. Moved to garage sale. FYI, you can get 16GB refurbs from the Apple store for $349 with full warranty, shipped. Don't bother with Craigslist yet, these idiots still haven't caught on that the value of their used iPads have now tanked.
  15. Hmmm, that's not a bad price. When we get to building our 2nd garage, I want something of similar size...maybe slightly bigger, but we don't want a loft. I was guessing more towards 40k-50k. I will need a lot more concrete works, as I will need a 2nd driveway.
  16. And that will be the day I cancel my subscription with them. I care about the quality of what I watch. Their "HD" is usually DVD quality or slightly better, and no where near Blu-ray quality. And most of the compression techniques that these streaming companies do (and a lot of people who upload stuff via Newsgroups/Torrents) isn't all that great either.
  17. I don't even have it for the streaming, though we will stream (PS3 or the Wii) a couple times a month. My wife streams with it more than I do. I get 3 at a time w/ Blu-ray. BD-R discs can be had for $1/each now...
  18. They could bribe me with $500, and I'm still not going to Sprint.
  19. Get a head unit and do it correctly. You will likely be unhappy with the setup you are looking at. There are a number of head units out there that will control your iPod directly, so you can stuff it away somewhere and it basically becomes a portable hard drive. That's what I do with mine.
  20. How much did you end up getting it for?
  21. I would purchase a rebuilt titled car, assuming it was done correctly, and not just rebuilt. That said, don't pay nearly what a clean title car would go for. Honestly, I would pay nor more than half of the clear title value. A rebuilt title will haunt that car forever. It takes away a large percentage of potential buyers (regardless of price), and those interested are only interested due to a lower price.
  22. I guess I don't get why you bought this car. You already have two older models of it. Do you really need three? If you had bought an S5 it would have made sense, but not another Bx car. Had you sold your B5 or B7, that would have also made sense. Plus you are fixed so its not like you are going to NEED another 4-door to haul any kids around. Personally, I'd be using that payment money to sell your house and get the fuck out of Reynoldsburg, but that's just me.
  23. Most of this stuff is garbage, good for grandma that can't figure out how to update anything.
  24. Their shit is overpriced, I would avoid them.
  25. Could always do a groutable sticky tile. If doing real tile, get a wet saw...it is a must have tool.
