  1. I prefer the program it out method.
  2. I eat there every couple of months. I suggested it in this thread, but it isn't the best. Hyde Park at the Cap (Upper Arlingtion one isn't all that great, haven't tried Dublin), and Ruth's Chris are both better for sure - and more expensive. Am I the only one that wasn't impressed with Mitchells in Polaris? I mean, the food was good, but for similar money I can go elsewhere for better food/atmosphere/location.
  3. Wife gets a nice discount through work.
  4. Hyde Park at the Cap. Tasty! J Gilberts does a pretty good steak too for a little cheaper.
  5. 1. Ehh, decent dual shield works just fine. Good, correctly installed, tight fittings are more important. There is enough shielding to prevent ingress/egress. Loose terminators, backfeeding devices, and loose fittings are the majorty of leakage we find. 2. WOW doesn't have the deep pockets of Time Warner = much less marketing. Being only in a few regions, WOW doesn't get the perks of advertising nation wide like TW can. That said, we having been breaking some kind of customer growth record every year in Columbus (and are very busy, even during this slow season right now), so it must be working well enough. I agree that I would like too see more advertisement...most dollars are spent on campus rush, since that is our max growth time (same for TW I'm sure).
  6. Most dual layer discs are +R. I use them mainly for DVD's that don't compress well into single layer (rare), or some Blu-ray stuff - either discs I burn to movie-only, or those without anything in the BDJO folder that I don't mind compressing slightly more.
  7. My wife and I each have iPhones, unlimited data, and pay $107/month. And I make use of that unlimited data.
  8. I am positive there is more to the story that you are either leaving our, or more likely, simply don't understand. I would bet good money all of this is your fault. You know, like not reading/understand the contract you signed.
  9. Umm, I haven't dropped any calls. There is no fooling, I haven't. Sorry if your provider has. I dropped a few with Verizon when I had them (not enough to be concerning). I drop a shit load with my Sprint phone. My wife hasn't dropped any calls with her iPhone either.
  10. I've had my iPhone for a year now...have never dropped a call.
  11. Ran out of dual layer discs. I check my two normal cheapest places for discs (Ebay and Newegg), and everything is over $1/disc. I've been paying $1/disc for BD-R for a few months now...this sucks! Anyone have a good source on cheap DVD+R DL? I still have a couple hundred DVD-R discs left, so I only need DL stuff.
  12. Lame. I don't need any more rollover minutes.
  13. Spanking works - period. Doesn't mean you have to beat the shit out of your kid, but a good spanking does wonders. I'm not going to listen to any of this hippie BS about no spanking, time out, etc. I've seen it work, and I know a LOT of people who later in life are thankful their parents spanked them, and respect their parents more for it. I am pro spanking.
  14. I was on Morse Rd @ Cherry Bottom when they passed by. I counted 2 fire trucks, 1 ambulance, and 9 unmarked cars/SUV's (all with hidden integrated lights).
  15. LOL, there is less fiber feeding your DSL than what is likely feeding you from WOW, Insight, or Time Warner. Any mention of a faster upload speed? This TW upload is killing me...I miss my 2Mbps upload.
  16. Cool motor wrapped in a Dodge truck. That's too bad.
  17. One of the biggest reasons for non-bundle prices being higher is customer retention. Single product customers tend to skip around between providers more often. The costs of installing and disconnecting service is high, so this is the main factor. As for On-Screen ads on WOW's guide, I have never seen this ever (I have with Insight, who is pretty shameless about it I might add). Never seen it with TW either. For the HD channels, you are correct that the content is currently low, but WOW will have over double the number of HD channels currently offered by the end of May, with them beginning to roll out the end of next month. At that point, TW will have the fewest HD channels in the area, with all other providers pretty much on par (give or take a couple channels). Hopefully TW steps up their selection too, as I'm stuck with them and would like some additional HD content, as I don't watch any non-HD channels.
  18. Not even close. The winter beater thread alone has several that may qualify. Best looking is probably Mark's Z06.
  19. Going to put a lift kit on it as well? Or some Hydros. That is ghetto as fuck. DO NOT WANT.
  20. Actually, I own two homes...and your estimates are WAY off. 1st, if you make 60k a year, how are you bringing home $4,000? I mean maybe if you have good deductions, don't save anything in 401k, no health insurance, etc. But that's not realistic. Your property tax estimate is insane. No where in Ohio would you pay that kind of rate on a 200k home. In a nicer area of Columbus, 200k home is more like $3600/year. Let's add $1000/year insurnace on the home, and PMI on that 200k loan = $1500/month. Your utility average is high. My house is all electric (inefficient), and is bigger than most anything you are going to buy for 200k in Columbus, and I average $250/month. More realistic, gas/electric for the year is $150-$175 Water/trash are high too. We have a septic tank here with trash/water service, never averages more than $50/month. With sewage at my other home, never higher than $75/month, and that was with HEAVY useage. Keeping your other numbers, that puts you @ $2750/month. Leaving you $1250 for car payments, savings, and play money.
  21. I'm not sure what my reaction would be if he punched her out on the spot. But alas, he just walked away.
  22. Ehh, it's not bad looking. But for anything you would see in conjunction with the pinstripe, the only thing with color would be the badge in the grill. I think it would make more sense if you had red calipers, red wheel pinstriping, or something else that goes with it.
  23. That's why I bought a new one - didn't feel like messing with this one, plus I wanted something a little bigger. Take a look on Ebay - that's where I got mine (refurb), better price than anywhere else.
