  1. Screw the snow and cold. And our vehicles are plenty capable in the snow...but it still sucks balls. Let's see, bundle up and snow board, or be out on the water wakeboarding. I'll take wakeboarding any day. If you need a male oriented reason beyond that, chicks in bikinis > chicks in a parka. Winter blows. And I'm going to have to get a snow blower this year...driveway is too big for me to desire shoveling it.
  2. How are the Dunlop Sport SP A/S tires? I think she is just going to want to go all season to spend less $$ now that I spoke to her more about it.
  3. Yes, we will be there walking. Anyone else that can donate...please do. It's for a good cause.
  4. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=169&pictureid=1023 Stock 06 2.0T Quattro, no TPMS. I like the stock rims, but also like the S-line rims like what's on Jones's car. 235/45/17. Hers are worn out. Choices are: - Decent set of all-season replacements. - Snow tires on the stock rims, performance tires on some S-line rims. Probably the biggest factor is what a set of used S-line rims would cost. Driving wise, she does about 20 minutes to work, mostly on Home Rd and 23. On really bad days, she has the option to drive my Avalanche, though I think she would still prefer to drive her Audi. If going all seasons, any suggestions? I'd like a good bang for the buck tire, no junk. I've always had good experiences with Nitto tires, so I'd lean towards those a bit (Avalanche is riding on Nitto Terra Grapplers; I've ran 555's on the Formula before as well).
  5. You can hook them up both ways. I hook it up RF direct connect in my work truck and my boat. My Avalanche is wired direct to my head unit (top-end Premier unit w/ an external input).
  6. Who is to say most of those nice cars weren't wrecked? Like full on totaled. Wasn't the rule that it had to be under the same owner and registered for the past 12 months, plus gas mileage rules?
  7. You have no idea what he is talking about.
  8. When is the official release available (for me to find a hacked copy of). I ran the Beta 7 several months ago, but a couple of programs I use frequently didn't like it. I want to update to the official relase when it comes out, but will sport Vista until then.
  9. Drive to a development where they are building houses. Pile 1400+ sq/ft of carpet + pad into dumpster with 5 truck load runs + 2 runs to other dumpsters week prior. Imagine how pissed the garbage guy was.
  10. But you don't like going fast.......
  11. I have this unit; it's pretty decent.
  12. Jaron called me and we setup another day to go quading, and wanted to invite anyone else who wants to go. Jason, want to go again? Anyone else? We had a great time last time we went!
  13. They didn't offer this before? Verizon has had this for a while, but I've never used it since my wife and I never go over our minutes without it (most of our calls are off-hours or to other Verizon customers).
  14. I have seen so many freaking videos of people getting into significant accidents doing burnouts. I've done my fair share, and have never had anything even close to a loss of control, let alone an accident.
  15. That's why we bought a forclosed home. Paid just a hair over half what the previous owner paid. Luckily, we are in a high-growth area, and our goal is to sell it for MORE than what the last guy paid in a few years.
  16. I edited your thread title, since you aren't selling a LCD TV.
  17. Hey, we still have another 5 years.....
  18. That's why you don't run in a V6 Mustang.
  19. That's not a bad deal. My wife got me the biggest pre-formed box Craftsman set they make for X-mas last year. I have found you tend to use those tools more, because they are so convient, portable, and well organized.
  20. Yes I have. My buddy Adam put one in his 99 T/A. Was a bolt-in deal; no different than installing any of the other rear-ends out there. He then sold the car to someone who is on CR, but not often. That guy then tried selling the car about a year ago on here, not sure what happened to it from there. I can't recall if he sold the car with the rear end or not, as I know he de-modded it some. It was slightly cheaper than a 12-bolt or 9", but personally would have put a 9" in the thing.
  21. PR builds some mean motors. Their new engine dyno setup is pretty sweet too.
  22. I am a fan of the BMR stuff: http://bmrfabrication.com/F-bodySuspension.htm Their Panhard rod seems to be a bit cheaper. I have a cheapy Jegs adjustable, but it's not on-the-car adjustable...that said, once you have it centered correctly, you shouldn't need to touch it again. I run the body-mount Spohn TA. I have the older slider-unit with the beefier mount, and it does hit the ground. I believe the newer units have better ground clearance.
  23. I have some black appliances for sale.
  24. Buy used and save: http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=71224
