No pun intended, look at what she goes through so far in the first movie, she's half way to being the classic hero(in), considering the movie is really half way done. Haven't seen Pulp Fiction in a LONG time, but I'm sure if you analyzed that, you would find the same thing. Oh yeah, the movie ended too early, Tarrantino should have done what he wanted and made it one movie. At least I didn't watch it in the movie theater, so now I can watch the second half of the movie a week after I watched the first instead of waiting months upon months. Although I do agree with the up and down of emotions and switching that Tony was talking about, but that added to the movie for me. I could see how it could detract for some. I don't know, maybe it's the fact that I can laugh about a person getting their head or arm chopped off when it's in a movie and very over the top.

Fake bass? Anything with a pipe organ will make thoes songs blush. EDIT: Good link. What are some great movie and music demos? From SVS Subwoffers, a home audio/theater sub place. Has a huge laundry list of moveis with 'waterfall' analysis of the lower freq. specturm (3D time versus freq versus power). It also has quite a few songs, from classical, to organ, to pop (rock mostly) with loud, low bass if you scroll down. Alot of sub 20Hz stuff, feel it in your bones with the right system. [ 15. Yes, and in fact I've even seen a Cammary All-trac, it was a station wagon.

That's what a kung fu movie was meant to be. Kick ass movie. Tony_K, whether we think she is a heroin or not doesn't detract from her being the classic heroin, you are too caught up in today’s societal and sociological standards.

I saw that deal too Cabott, too bad I already have Resivore Dogs (9 Bucker at Walmart).

I've allready seen 21 Grams, friend rented it a few weekends ago and I really liked it.
-
I'm going to the store to buy it, 21 Grams and whatever else I see that catches my eye tonight.

It relates to everything becuase it proves you are not right in the head, therefore anything you say is diluted, therefore it holds no weight for me in any arguement. Yes, If you cured cancer, I'd be saying how you peed on people. You pee on people for fun, end arguement. The fact that you see this as no big deal proves my point even more.
-
But you also pee on the oppisite sex so noone really cares about or puts any stock in anything you would do. Agreed, but I'm not going to put the tongue.gif on there because I am not kidding at all.

Just because there isn't enough airspace for those two 12's doesn't mean there will be enough for any two 10's. You could have Y set of 10's that need allot more air than X set of 12's just dependent on their Theil Small parameters. I had a set of 10's that in a sealed box needed ~1.5, 1.6 cuft. Took up the entire trunk of my Saturn. Although you are right in generally assuming, all other things being equal a set of 10's will need less airspace than a set of 12's. It's just that more than likely they will not be the same exact line of sub, or even the same brand. Just a word to the wise.

www.sing365.com is a good place for lyrics. "And it's happened once again I'll turn to a friend Someone that understands Sees through the master plan But everybody's gone And I've been here for too long To face this on my own Well I guess this is growing up Well I guess this is growing up" Blink 182-Dammit "And then I saw her standing there With green eyes and long blonde hair She wasn't wearing underwear at least i prayed that She might be the one, maybe we'd have some fun Maybe we'd watch the sun rise But that night I learned some girls try too hard Some girls try to hard (bakground from here on in the chorus "vagina" repeated over and over) Yeah, Some girls try to hard to impress With the way that they dress With those things on their chest And the things they suggest to me" Blink 182-The Party Song "I watch how the moon sits in the sky on a dark night Shining with the light from the sun But the sun doesn't give the light to the moon assuming The moon's gonna owe it one It makes me think of how you act to me You do favors then rapidly You just turn around and start askin me about Things that you want back from me I'm so sick of the tension Sick of the hunger Sick of you acting like I owe you this Find another place to feed your greed While I find a place to rest I wanna be in another place I hate when you say you don't understand [You'll see it's not meant to be] I wanna be in the energy Not with the enemy A place for my head Maybe some day I'll be just like you and Step on people like you do And run away of the people I thought I knew I remember back then who you were You used to be calm, used to be strong, Used to be generous, you should have known That you wear out your welcome and now you see How quiet it is all alone I'm so sick of the tension Sick of the hunger Sick of you acting like I owe you this Find another place to feed your greed While I find a place to rest I'm so sick of the tension Sick of the hunger Sick of you acting like I owe you this Find another place to feed your greed While I find a place to rest I wanna be in another place I hate when you say you don't understand [You'll see it's not meant to be] I wanna be in the energy Not with the enemy A place for my head You try to take the best of me Go away You try to take the best of me Go away You try to take the best of me Go away You try to take the best of me Go away {screaming} You try to take the best of me Go away You try to take the best of me Go away You try to take the best of me Go away You try to take the best of me Go away I wanna be in another place I hate when you say you don't understand [You'll see it's not meant to be] I wanna be in the energy Not with the enemy A place for my head Shut! Up! I am so sick of the tension Sick of the hunger Sick of you acting like I owe you this Find another place to feed your greed While I find a place to rest shut up!!! This is a normally patrolled highway by the state troopers but today they were out in force. There was a cop sitting like he had just finished pulling someone over about half way from the Hilliard exit and the SR142 exit (next exit). Then a few more miles up right before the SR142 exit a cop had a truck pulled over, then right after SR 142 another cop had something pulled over (I did not see what it was because I get off at 142). Looked like a speed trap to me. My guess is they will be on the other side of the highway when I’m coming home from work. Just a warning if you head out that way.

Computer monitor displaying green instead of red...
Trouble Maker replied to CobraKevin's topic in Tech and Tips
I'd bet the cable but could be something internal, check the connector and see if one of the pins is bent. If it's not intergal to the monitor (probably) try and replace it. -
Fush, are thoes tublar ports for the exhast coming from the oppsite (of the exhuast) side of the enigne? Man, I would think It would be a huge PITA trying to get true equal lengths from the exhuast valve to the collector considering the fact that the exhuast flows through from the other side of the head for that bank.

Talk to rigsby, it did something like this when he had it and it was simply that something came unpluged if I'm remembering right. This could be the problem or not, but it's worth a shot.

Aka, the car you never should have sold. If you still had that car you could have sold it for $$$ to some ricer.
-
It is based on equations that can be applied to any engine.

Got it back about two weeks ago or so. Need to sit down and finish my story of everything that happened before I forget everything. Total cost would have been about $400. $200 for the deductible and ~$200 for parts which wern't directly related to the transmission but were obviously needed for a trnasmission swap. Exhuast gaskets and clamps, PS fluid, coolant, some other stuff. I ended up having them put on a new clutch and pressure plate (... and flywheel). Wanted them to resurface the flywheel and they sent it to a machine shop who said, after a week, that it was impossible to do. Gave them the go ahead to put a new one one. Just so happens the 'acidentally' ordered one with my clutch and pressure plate. That doubled the cost of parts for that portion of the job. Did some research and posted on the S4 section of Audi World and it's not impossible, but just hard to do. Need a special Jig to hold the flywheel while it is being ground down. I guess it's some special two piece flywheel. Wasn't happy at all about that but didn't want to put that flywheel back on with a new clutch and pressure plate. Didn't trust them or the machine shop to check the specs on the flywheel for trueness. And I just wanted my car back. Oh well, it's back and runs good now. Full story to come but that's just one of the many thing's they've done through out all of this. I got all of the old crap back which was cool. I'm going to dig through the parts to see if I can visually see what failed. Maybe rebuild the one I have now (for who knows what?) or just sell it as is. I figure with a transmission that cost $3.5k used I can get decent money from this one, even disassembeled.

Can't you just assume a certian VE. Use thoes and your known displacement and max RPM and you can caluclate air flow rate for a given boost pressure. This boost pressure (compression ratio on the compressor maps) and flow rate will put you at a certian point on the compressor flow maps. Or better yet you could find the compressor flow maps for your turbos and find a stock dyno chart. Use this and known or assume driveterian loss (will give you engine power). Assume a BSFC. Assuming a certian boost pressure (stock ECU can probably change it slightly) you could work backwards and calculate VE. These methods can be extended across the rpm range to make sure your not just sizing the turbo for max RPM but so that you don't run too ineficient down or hit compressor surge no-no land down low. Or if your calculating VE to calculate it across the RPM range as it might (will) change due to intake tract, exhaust tract, head and cam flow dynamics (as flow rate increases air speed will also increase, but differently obviously for different orfice sizes, then you reach super sonic and everything reverses, you go turblant and your power starts to drop off). I guess I'm kind of confused. Knowing your displacement, at a given RPM and manifold pressure, assuming a VE, there should be a given CFM (air flow rate). (If I'm remembering right, been a while since I brushed up on my engine/turbo theory, can someone back me up here). There are equations to do all of this. p.s. don't take any of this to heart till I go read up on my Croky Bell.

Check over on www.columbusdsm.com There are quite a few people who have done 2g (96-99) turbos. I'm not sure if any of them have done the swap, but it's entirely possibly. With as inexpensive as 1g's are, why not look for an inexpensive one? Should be able to find a motor over there too. I don't know how different the 4g63's and 4g63t's are internally and/or externally. You very well might be able to grab the manifold and crap form a turbo one and put it on your motor.

I didn't post about them being gone because I live there and well that would just be stupid to let the whole world know they were gone for a few months. We had some idiots in the village council/mayors position and they shut the cops down for whatever reason. New people in office got them running again thankfully. Just wanted to let anyone know that had known about this that the cops are back so watch your speed through there again.

Off Topic. Renner, were you on polaris Sunday (yesterday) around 9pm going west? I was next to a black A4 2.8 last night at a light. Just wondering. If so, car looked nice (as it does in the pictures). graemlins/thumb.gif

My opinion, keep it as a car to drive to and from work and long distances and get a cheap project car. I'll start off by suggesting a 1st gen. dsm (eagle talon, mitsubishi eclipse, plymouth laser). Very inexpensive to buy and modify. You can make them do just about anything you want. Whether they will be able to compete nationally let alone regionally in their division??? They are probably better for a drag race or all around car. I'd pick for a much smaller scale at first though. There are a ton of cars that fit the bill of 'cheap to buy and modify' though, but they are all for different appetites and different taste. What kind of driving would you like to do? We have many different organizations for many different types of driving and if you are seriously looking to compete I would first find out what you can do with which cars to meet their specifications. What kind of driving is motoracing exactly and would you like to stick to something like that? I guess the big question of the day is, what do you want out of a car? What type of driving would you like to compete it in?

If that's the case, remind me to never get a pioneer, that would be damn annoying.
