  1. Wife and I don't really drink but had to try marani vodka since I own way to many shares of the stock. It was very drinkable straight and especially good as a cranberry martini.
  2. I know from personal experience that you are probably right. I also know that people fall for these scams all the time.
  3. $800 can build a pretty nice PC. That's usually what I spend every 5-6 years for an updated one for myself. I usually reuse monitors, keyboard, sometimes the case, etc. Unless others know a better place to order parts, I get everything at micro center. Price is usually better than anywhere I look online. These days building a PC from parts is very easy, most things plug and play, so not a lot of configuration for basic use.
  4. I get so tired of fixing stuff. Especially the stuff that breaks because being a cheap ass is in my genes.
  5. Just be careful, you'll do fine under 2k. That's half your jeeps weight, but your brakes will be strained due to oversized tires adding to the force.
  6. Almost correct, cdl required over 26,000 or over 16 passengers in most states might even be federal rule, not sure. 2.5 ton Deuce =24,000 and hydraulic brakes 5 ton truck and pretty sure that HEMMIT has air brakes so cdl plus air brake endorsement regardless. If you try to pull a trailer you just upped yourself to a class A. So they can be expensive to own. The 5ton sell for around 5k though.
  7. Lol, I've been in NYC for the month and brain dead from meetings classes.
  8. The.gov finally approved the HMMWV for sale to the public. The first few have completed the auction process on govplanet and should be available for pickup by buyers. AMG/GM had been able to lobby to keep destroying them until now. They are going for pretty high prices so far and as far as I know they are off-road only, but both those situations are expected to change.
  9. Looks to me like when the relay activates, the plug burned due to not having a tight and clean connection to the board. I suggest replacing the board and plug, clean well, and squeeze the inside of the new plugs metal connectors so they are tight fitting on the board, and also apply some electrical contact grease etc. You could also just clean the connectors and use the old stuff. Possibly the inside of the relay looks similar though.
  10. They turned out pretty good. Lots of guys say light food from behind to get depth shadows.
  11. Ive read things about it, I hope it doesn't happen.
  12. Crazy thing about longs, so much can effect them. You gotta do research, know what's on the horizon as much as you can and still some of it is luck (gov stays out, etc). Main reason I try hard to day trade only. Much easier to buy sell on immediate fear/greed and be out over night so there's no surprise news after the bell.
  13. Charts say no to Tesla short term, unless you know where they are headed I'd stay out until the down tend reverses.
  14. I've seen many wiring jobs within the past five years not coded correctly on new builds, when it comes to AC I always use a meter before going in. You just never know.
  15. GFCI was my first thought as well. Easy to overlook.
  16. Five ton trucks and LMTV's are going for a good price now too.
  17. For the rest of us there's govliquidation.com

    Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving, Wife and I are taking are girls to Myrtle Beach this year and meeting up with her sister's family. Thought we'd do something different. We're hitting up Captain George's seafood buffet today, then tomorrow they'll do black friday stuff and I'll likely be floating around a lazy river watching about 6-7 kids LOL.
  19. Good idea, I'll try to find a converter if that stuff doesn't work.
  20. I have a service manual that was created for use in IE 5 or 6 that my company needs to use. For some reason the creator hasn't upgraded the document. Besides building W2K machine with IE 5 is there any way to view the document correctly? Its huge and has links and frames within windows of which some are not loading. What I've tried so far. IE 11 with its compatibility mode Firefox (newest) Chrome (newest) Learned that newer windows cannot support older IE versions. Haven't tried older version of firefox etc because I have no clue which ones to try at this point. At our customer site we happen to be running an old fiery server and it loads just fine, but I need the docs working in our service dept.
  21. Usually the first few things I do are see if I can access my router or another PC. Keep it simple.
  22. I just got an S5, I still have an S3 my company makes me carry as well. So far S5 is awesome. I also didn't want something so big and if you having looked at them they are slightly bigger than S3, no where near the size of a note though. I mostly wanted to tether my tablet but at least with the phones size and power I can use it when a tablet is not practical.
  23. The old guy even got a movie on Netflix. It wasn't a bad movie either.
  24. She had it coming, though the dude was freaking huge and probably should have just tried to get away from the people as much as possible. People who say "no reason to ever hit a woman" haven't met the right woman IMO. Some are just bat shit crazy.
