  1. So is this new list for people who are driving home with their tail between their legs after getting walked at the track?
  2. Yoke's is owned by the brother of Bill of Bills autobody in Delaware.
  3. Bill's Autobody is one of the best around, he has been doing it for a long time.
  4. It doesnt take a lentech 4r70w to be strong, a fully updated 4r70w with a jerry modded valve body and the right torque converter will handle 700+rwhp with ease.
  5. 4r70w's are not weak, the older ones need some updating, but they can be very strong (rediculously strong). He would need a different case with the 351 (a late model v6 case).
  6. I use an AirCat composite 1/2" impact, the name sounds cheesy but its one bad motherfucker. BTW, I still havent heard from the insurance company.
  7. http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/OBJECTS/48200/48186.JPG > * Just about the only thing I have to use my 1/2" impact for is removing LSX crank bolts.
  8. I'll be pulling the front axle tomorrow or Sunday...
  9. Chipping them out generally takes a lot of force and a hardend punch...I've never had one that wouldnt break.
  10. You can chip them out (they are very brittle) or zap it with a plasma cutter and it will destroy the bit, you just have to be carefull not to hurt the head.
  11. $100, it will be as soon as tomorrow, its from my mothers Jeep (wrecked) Its sitting at my shop, I'll yank it as soon as I hear from the insurance company.
  12. I'll have one from a Cherokee in a few days, if they are the same....
  13. hmmmm, I have a 357 and a 88mm turbo. And Linn, a motor to make that much power day to day is more than 4k.
  14. It should work OK, however to be safe I would use Russell powerflex line, as its rated much higher (2500psi) than standard stainless braided rubber line and will not corrode over time.
  15. Yeah. Those looked like ss autocrhome welds, they use a mig process that resultes in welds that look alot like that, and they use a decent quality polished stainless (304) that looks like that. They also just started producing a 5.0 TT setup.
  16. He's using flipped shorties for a turbo setup I would assume. Thats why I preffer to make headers, it save trouble like that. If you Tig there is no reason you couldnt, its just as cheap as buying a set of cheapo headers.
  17. I love working on cars for a living. Some people are different. I will work all day on customer cars every day and still have every ambition to work on my own stuff. Hell half the time I get more motivated to change/work on something on my cars after doing a cool project for a customer. The further I get into the industry the more I love it. Granted that could be because of the part of the industry I'm involved in. And I have a BA in Psych from OSU.
  18. No BAP? If he is going to be doing freeway pulls at that power level he better invest in dual FPDM's and dual BAPS, a single FPDM will go into thermal protecion after to long of a pull with twin GT pumps.
  19. PTK has been around for a long time. I modified one of there gen II lightning kits to work correctly and it made 800rwhp/800rwtq with a little PT76GTS. Getting the kit might take some time from what I have seen.
  20. I made nearly 400rwhp with a HY35 4 or 5 years ago. Holeset's are the rednecks of the turbo world.
