  1. Firebug for element inspection. Cookie Manager for watching cookies. Live HTTP Headers - for watching client/server communication. Selenium IDE for recording and playing back...
  2. I got mine at Kay, back in 1994. All jewelry stores pay the same price for gold and diamonds, go get the ring she wants and pay the price you want.
  3. Go to almost any apple store and there is a Microsoft and Sony store nearby. They have to have something that plays MP3s.
  4. 110 Rental Car Days, 138 nights in hotels. Longest single trip was 20k miles. I use all my miles for my family and I to travel. If you are flying on United, I can get you upgraded.
  5. Looks like I will finish up the year at 138k miles flown. Next year I know I will be in Europe and Asia again so I might be able to get over 150k. Anyone else road warrior?
  6. We discussed this at OEFFA a few years ago. White rice has almost zero nutrition and is all starch where as brown rice has some protein and offers a bit more nutrition and fiber. They are trying it to see if enough people are interested.
  7. I have a Roth IRA and some mutual funds. Hoping for another IPO.
  8. It is how I get day old chickens delivered. The USPS has been doing this for over 100 years. I am afraid this process is going to go away and it will be sad.
  9. All after hours vets are super expensive.
  10. So lets couple this up with something I am doing. Find me a local toy store, not a big box, someplace that is mom/pop. I will go there and buy some toys.
  11. I thought it was pretty tasty. Pretty much tasted like beef, a little more grained as their muscles are used more.
  12. I wasn't here on vacation so all my photos are secNerds.
  13. I wouldn't say spot on, I didn't get roofed and there weren't any forms of fellatio as far as I can tell. I did eat Kangaroo.
  14. Retail and banking security are both jokes. No that's not true, I have Clear internet now. I am in Melbourne Australia at a Hacker Conference called Ruxcon. My company bought the booze last night, its been a rough couple of days. I live where it is cheap and work where it isnt. I have a global role as a corporate director for Web Security at a company called Qualys. I joined CR because Jones walked past my office at UUNet one day and saw a piston on my desk (out of a 572). Anything else?
  15. Tokyo, Singapore, Sydney and Melbourne down. Off to Auckland tomorrow and back home. Never drink with Australians.
  16. To answer your original question. Think of the ocean, waves rolling in one after another. Those waves are single phase at a time. Now take 3 waves, and put them right next to eachother. The top of the first wave next to the top of the second wave, next to the top of the third wave. AC is a sign wave but if we could fill in the gaps in between the waves, with other waves, we would end up with current that is closer to DC current. This means that we can use smaller motors and get the same output HP because the input is greater. make any sense?
  17. I got some of the stuff I needed. My son began learning the programming. I have been too tied up with work to pay enough attention to it.
  18. My dad caught this first hand. The stuff he tells me about is so gory and frightening that no one will ever put it on TV. When he got his 3rd purple heart he was forced to a rear unit in Okinawa, he told me he wanted to stay with his buddies but he had to roll back. Sad how badly we f'd those guys up and never really paid them back.
  19. It might sound crazy but I am in Tokyo right now and my cab back from the office was drifting the entire time. I now understand the movie. this may or may not be a true post.
  20. I just recently purchased a flip phone. It was with VZ, they market it as a landline replacement phone, comes with a charging cradle.

    Browsing images

you want your wallpaper on your computer to continually scroll through images. ok, one final bit of information needed. what images? on your computer, on the interwebs? Yes, you can do this. Mac or PC?
  22. Had lunch in Akihabara. I heart arcades.
  23. Direct to LAX would have to be someone that hubs in LAX. Delta has a hub there, I know you can direct from LA to CMH. Not sure if that flight continues to ATL though. Kayak.com says Alaska does it, I think it must be a code share with someone else. Honestly, going via ORD, DEN, HOU, or ATL isn't that bad. Considering the 120 flights I have made this year, I am never bothered by a connection.
  24. Its all work. I got into Tokyo after dark so I only got a few pictures. The domino's pizza scooters crack me up.
