  1. Tilley, never got your take on here about what you think on the Miller/Barrett Saga. what say you?
  2. I want to like Miller. Their play style is just so different its hard to compare. Amazing we are so lucky to have this dilemma again, two fantastic quarterbacks. I wonder without the threat of being worried if Miller gets injured, I wonder if they can play him harder? Have them both out at the same time and really mess with defenses? I will say that Barrett seems to be a fantastic leader and is well rounded. I am just blown away by how much he's grown in the time he's been playing. Imagine 1 or 2 seasons from now. His Previous knee injury has me worried. Seen him hobbling around a few times.

  4. I just put in a thermostat and ended up getting a LUX t-stat. I had traditionally gone with honeywell but the features and reviews were really good on this unit.

I want a WRX wagon. Me gusta.
  6. I recently went through this as we put a new roof on the house we purchased in September. We were weighing metal vs shingle. The quote for my Owens Corning dimensional shingle (40yr, with a grain of salt) was $7500 and the metal roof was $10,000. No brainer right, go with the metal. Well did some more digging and not all metal roofs are created equal. The $10k offer was a 29gauge (i believe) thick metal with exposed fasteners (think close to dryer duct thickness !!!). Basically a barn roof. Take a close look at the wind resistance to the roof you look at. If you get ANY wind in a storm those fasteners will pull right through the metal and there goes your roof. After looking at a proper standing seam metal roof with 26 gauge, it was over $20k I figure at worse case i'll put 2 40 yr roofs on this house (unless storm damage), and then i'll be dead and my kids can worry about it. Still cheaper than a proper metal roof.
  7. Didn't realize we had crew from cbus going. We were there with a bunch of V8 RX-7s.
  8. awesome work. Body work is no joke. Staying stock...lol
  9. back up QB jump over defender. El Oh El
  10. I'm going to pretend you didn't even say that. Couches get burned on every major campus just about every weekend. Don't be an idiot. Do I need to refresh you on the time top gear got ran out of the south (Georgia?)?
  11. Need a .gif of the maryland fan celebrating after the first Maryland touchdown with his hands in the air in the tight checkered shirt. STAT.
  12. I'm from Argentina and a fan of Top Gear. I know the faulklands are a touchy subject for many, even today. However, that plate is a stretch. Basically just an excuse for a bunch of youths to break stuff. That never happens in the US right?
  13. Mine went up like CRAZY. I did have to replace my roof twice in less than 3 yrs due to hail (obviously that was my fault, ugh). We just moved into a bigger house. 3600 sqft, pond on the property, 5 acres, out in the country. Paying $1200 /yr . Insurance guy did say that due to all the weather crap there has been lately in the US, all rates have gone up also. My insurance on my subdivision house 1300 sqft 4 yrs ago was under $500. Crappy.
  14. i usually go to bikebandit.com
  15. So, not sure where to post this since Marc is a CR sponsor but doesn't have a site in the vendor area. But Marc did our mortgage work for the new house we purchased last week and was awesome to work with. I had heard locally (indiana) that folks were working with Union Savings Bank. Finding out Marc worked there was a no brainer since I've known Marc for years (word up, streetlight!). A home is a big purchase and not something I do frequently (only my second purchase). It was nice working with someone I trust and could answer my questions truthfully and work with me. Marc was/is always quick to return calls emails. And we had to come up with some potential work around situations since my bank (not union savings) was a PITA. And I feel like I had questions about every single digit that came through my finger tips, he was always patient and informative. We got a great rate too. Props to Marc, if you need a refi or mortgage or whatever, call Him.
  16. Im currently looking into it now, going to call excede (satellite internet) but the caps are going to suck.
  17. I still think it is a bad idea to bring them here. Like others said there are plenty of other locations that can give the treatment they got here. I thought basically they just hook them to IV's and let their body get rid of it. Good idea on getting an island. You'd think WHO would have thought about that. What gets me is we have all these 'facts' about ebola. How you basically have to stick your finger with an open wound into an infected person's mouth and so forth. If it was so drastic and so easy you'd think it'd be contained by now. Their facts should be taken with a grain of salt
  18. Wonder how a low car, even with a full hardtop would do against those. Say....an RX7 for example.
  19. also I think the games with a gun interface like duck hunt only work with CRT and not new flat screens.
  20. I wanted to do something similar for ours last month and it was a chellenge. I heard there is a website for classic cars and wedding rentals though i never did try to find it. May want to try 'the google' to see if you can find it? Sorry not much help.
