Not sure if this is a repost but looks like Fast and Furious 6 is a reality. Its on IMBD.com too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SD1bXZfCkvM&feature=player_embedded#! I used to really hate these movies but if you take them for entertainment factor I really have started to like them.

Nice restoration. Couple of comments, not trying to knock it down because I'm just learning, but my impression. Seems like the older picture is a bit more in focus, or has more details, can really tell around the eyes and nose. Not sure if thats just a result of getting rid of the grain/texture? Towards her right shoulder you were fixing the tear or something, and you basically extended her shoulder out. Looks like her right side she should be a linebacker, doesn't match her other shoulder. minor things, but still a good restoration.

Ugh, I thought the expensive part was over.

Just picked up an SB-700 used for only a month for $250 I am a big fan of the built in bounce card but legitimately have no idea how to use this dang thing, not only specifically the SB-700 but also flash photography in general. Any tips or links?

I know it looks straight forward. worried about blending in the edge and what not.

Well my bath tub is cracked due to the crappy craftsmanship, spotty support underneath. Either way I have decided to go the 'inlay' route for repair. Where the bottom of the tub is essentially replaced. Option 1 - Pay installed ~$450 to $500 to install said inlay. With 1 year warranty. Option 2 - Do it myself ~$150. No warranty obviously. Talked to the company that makes the inlays and they said that inlays are the only things they sell to do-it-yourselfers due to the ease. Confirmed that this is the same thing that the repair man is using in option 1. This includes injecting a resin or something to fill in the soft spot underneath. I am worried it might look like crap. Was wondering if anyone here ever installed one of these. http://www.napcoltd.com/products/32-tub-and-shower-inlays/

Went downtown today to kick off the superbowl celebration. Today they had an indy car per NFL team painted for that team. Lined up at the circle. http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c192/BertoBizkit/Fred%20Miranda%20Forum%20Entries/Berto%20Photography/Misc%20Photography/012812_superbowl2012_1606edited-1.jpg Portrait of my friends, which are Packer fans http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c192/BertoBizkit/Fred%20Miranda%20Forum%20Entries/Berto%20Photography/Misc%20Photography/012812_superbowl2012_1610.jpg All of the super bowl rings were on display, took a pic of the reigning champions. http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c192/BertoBizkit/Fred%20Miranda%20Forum%20Entries/Berto%20Photography/Misc%20Photography/012812_superbowl2012_1623.jpg

No ND just UV. Which was very handy with all the droplets of water. The picture isn't entirely clear so not sure if that works out good. http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c192/BertoBizkit/DSC_3124-cropped.jpg

Got back out to Oregon this past week and was able to run to Multnomah falls again and got there just as the sun dissapeared. They had gotten A LOT of rain so I knew the falls would be carrying a lot of water. Set up the tripod and snagged a few there was quite a bit of mist from the rain/falls so I didn't want to stand there too long. Not sure I am entirely convinced of the shot, yet I was thrilled to use the wide angle lens . Not really sure I like the shots yet but it is what it is. http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c192/BertoBizkit/Fred%20Miranda%20Forum%20Entries/Berto%20Photography/Oregon/DSC_3124.jpg http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c192/BertoBizkit/Fred%20Miranda%20Forum%20Entries/Berto%20Photography/Oregon/DSC_3098.jpg

I have this one and I love it. Its a lund roll up cover. No worries about using it in the cold since the latch has a tensioner so you just buckle it down and go. It takes me 30 seconds to have my bed covered. Also this one has a lifetime warranty. One of my buddies has this too and the velcro on the rails basically dissolved from years in the sun and they sent him a brand new replacement. http://www.truckaddons.com/Catalog/subpages/Lund_genesis_rollup_cover.htm

Thanks fellas, yeah I had PP'd that picture some but I am not claiming to be a master at it. not sure if there is anything I can do to correct the DOF issue :-/ The one with the tree carvings could lend itself to B&W with the contrast it has, might look nice.

Did a 6 month shoot for my Buddy's little girl. She's pretty awesome. Got this one of her gazing at her first Ice Storm. The DOF is a bit shallow but she was moving around so much and I don't have an external flash I had to take every bit of advantage I could get to keep my shutter speeds up. http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c192/BertoBizkit/Fred%20Miranda%20Forum%20Entries/Berto%20Photography/Misc%20Photography/DSC_3056.jpg

While that is pretty sweet, body boarding still feels like a V6 mustang when compared to the V8.

Hey bruh. Pay it and move on, specially since you want to get out this year. They haven't hassled you on late fees, just let it go. You will probably spend more than $35 to move.

That sounds great if you want to have to remember to rev your car every time you shut it down to make sure you don't flood it, and then stand on one foot and scratch your back at the same time, then do a rain dance. I remember with the rotary I had put a switch to the fuel pump in the dash so I could un flood it without having to get out of the car. The carbon build up sounds like the same issues we had, didn't realize it was still due to that. Aren't there ignition coil issues to? Either way, your money, have fun.

Make sure you live near a mazda dealer. I know a few folks with RX-8's and none of their motors lasted past 100k. I agree N/A rotaries (in 1st and 2nd gen RX-7s can be reliable), but these aren't the case. Wasn't there some huge class action lawsuit or something?

I got rid of the x-clamps, did the new paste and washers. What is reflowing the boad? was that where you let it overheat to set the paste or something? did that too.

So a few yrs ago my Xbox 360 rrod'd (MS replaced it under warranty), fast forward to this last weekend it RROD'd again. I performed the 'fix' where you take the heatsinks off, clean and apply new paste. Worked for about an hour of combined use I was feeling pretty good. Then it RROD'd again. My options are: - try to fix this myself again. - pay someone to fix this. - get a new xbox slim 4GB and try to figure out how to upgrade the HD ($199) - get a new xbox slip 250GB $299 - get a PS3 160 GB for $250 The main thing keeping me with the xbox is a BUNCH of you guys are on it, and I have my games, which aren't a big deal I only really play 2, MW3 and just picked up BF3. Another thing to consider is my xbox live is about to expire next month so there goes another $50 to spend. Also the PS3 has blu-ray, and I don't have a blu ray play because i've been waiting for the next gen xbox. thoughts?

I'd be curious to see that. When I went to Oregon in August I talked to a guy doing a time lapse shoot from a spot on the Columbia River Gorge. Wonder if its the same one.
