2:50...gonna need a mop for that one. 3:45...hope you didn't put the mop away yet. Damn, there were a bunch of donkeys staked out around that place. And I swear I saw a pig?!?! Big glowing 4-legged blob with short legs at any rate.

I have to wonder, would it be rules legal to run something like a Top Fuel car with some changes to make it a mile runner? Drop the boost and run lower nitro percentages for longer engine life, run a geared transmission for more MPH...stuff like that.

If you like mystery/crime novels, try John D. MacDonald's "Travis McGee" books, starting with The Deep Blue Good-bye. Or Donald Westlake's "Dortmunder" series, starting with The Hot Rock. Sci-fi/fantasy: David Drakes "RCN" series, starting with With the Lightnings. His "Hammers Slammers" books are good too. Terry Pratchett's "Discworld" novels...possibly some of the funniest and most insightful stuff ever written, especially the Vimes books. You'll laugh your butt off, then you'll REALLY get the jokes, and cry because you no longer have buttocks to laugh off. Fuck Steven King though, he turned hack after Christine and Cujo...

Franklin County Engineers office on 33 near the Post Office has a USGS datum right out front. There are a couple others in accessible places around the county, I think. Those are as accurate as it's possible to get.

What was the weirdest sexual experience you've ever had?
Avenger1647545502 replied to 87GT's topic in Dumpster
This Gothy chick used to talk me up at the bar I went to. She was pretty weird, so I wasn't really interested in tapping her, but one night she got me drunk and dragged me out the back door. There was a field behind the place, she led me back there just out of sight of the bar, pushed me against a tree and gave me some HELLACIOUS head. I blew down her throat, and after she swallowed and stood up, she walked behind me and yelled, "That's how you should've done it, you stupid bitch!" I was WTF, and she pointed beside the tree...we were in a friggin CEMETARY, and the headstone beside the tree had name, date, and "DIED IN CHILDBIRTH" on it... -
I used to buy parts there. USED to. I'll drive all the way across town to Caldwell or Byers rather than deal with those fuckfaces ever again.

Sure they will...but those ones will DETONATE.

I do have to say I'm disappointed he couldn't work a VW into the hill jump...if you're going to stunt in San Fran, you better show some respect to "Bullitt".
-
Neck down...yeah. Hell, I'll go so far as to say her face is salvageable. Voice is beyond annoying, sorta the South African Fran Drescher.
-
It would have HAD to have been her own fault...anybody else would have heard her damn car miles off.

CHL---check. Improbably large number of handguns concealed about my person---check. Time to mess with Barney's head!

The serial number on your Model 10 will be on the bottom of the grip frame...if it starts with a "V" and has a lanyard ring at the back of the grip frame then it's WW2 production, but not necessarily actually a military piece. You can also find the serial and model type on the front frame under the forcing cone...just remove the cylinder and it's stamped on the front of that opening. Pretty sure it'll be either a 10-3 or 10-4. Can't go wrong with a 10, the only weapon with a longer history and better reliability is a rock!

I remember seeing something about her being dead after a car crash...

There isn't much collector interest in 10/22s anyway...they are regarded as plinkers now matter what you've done with them. About the only 10/22s I've seen consistently appreciate are the Mannlicher-style stock versions...they only kick those out once in a blue moon, and never enough to satisfy the demand.

Yeah...if I'm in a wreck like that, the LAST thing I want is dozens of untrained amateur journalists swarming the car, thinking it's a good idea to drag me out before checking for spinal injuries. Let the pros handle that kind of stuff.

AEP asks us to conserve power from 3-7pm

Just like the gas companies sending out those "gas prices are going UP" chain emails three days before prices go down... -
Between the pods, and the razor edges on the branches...yeah, they are not good yard trees. They do look pretty damn awesome in the fall though!
-
Parents lost power in the Sunday storm. Took down 4 big old trees that pulled their roots out, we cut them up in the afternoon. Turns out they are Black Walnut, and have BEAUTIFUL heartwod grain with nice long sections. We cut them long, and they are stacked to dry now! They'll probably end up making a good profit on the days work.

Avoid sweetgums...they do grow fast, but their seed pods are these: http://www.dreamstime.com/sweet-gum-seed-pods-thumb12210033.jpg Stepping on one while barefoot feels like what you think it would feel like, only worse. Maples are a good way to go, the colors in fall are nice, and they don't drop branches much.

Mercedes and Ferrari have their own bikes too, so do a couple other manufacturers. Mercedes version has a leather seat and all kinds of rider comfort technology, Ferrari designed theirs for all out speed, Toyota has a poorly welded machine-gun mount on the back....

Crazy vid of Colorado fires (one of them)
Avenger1647545502 replied to Buck531's topic in Pics and Vids
Mother Nature is doing warm-ups for December 21st.... THIS is what happens when you disrupt natural cycles...these areas used to burn off every 10-20 years. Now...by preventing the small fires, dead wood and brush build up until there is no way to prevent fires from exploding out of control. -
Gotta be honest though...if you had a dashcam running in most US commercial vehicles, it'd be a near run thing for which country would have the most videos.

Drifter sentenced to death by beheading
Avenger1647545502 replied to 99FLHRCI's topic in Passing Lane
I asked somebody from Saudi Arabia about that once. Apparently, there are various kinds of whips used for the lashes, and the courts also specify how the lashings are to given. Those 3,000 lashes would probably be administered 10 at a time with basically a short bullwhip...about 8 feet long with a leather tip. Basically, they get whipped until bloody, then when they are healed they get whipped again. Repeat until 3,000. Now, sometimes the judges will specify that the punishment is to be carried out all at once. That does usually result in death, but they use a shorter whip with a cloth tip so that more of the lashes are actually delivered.
