  1. broken belt... pull it away from the wall and look underneath. probably find a replacement belt for cheap at autozone or advance.
  2. ^^^^ Call All Foreign first, they're local. Triplett's yard is in Akron, and Strickers is in Cinci.
  3. Got a girl's 26" Huffy 18 speed mountain bike. $10?
  4. All that money and such, and he's hanging on to an old third gen f body? http://64.38.252.186/New/images/CIMG0411.jpg
  5. I got my dog from CHA as well, they're great people to deal with! I had some concerns about adopting a dog from the shelter, but they really seem to care about what happens to the animals when they go home with someone. I'll probably adopt from them again in the future. This sounds like a great event, I'll have to check my schedule.
  6. This is the last time I'm gonna drop the price. I hate to let it go this cheap as it really is a great truck, I just can't afford to fix it. $1500
  7. Wheel Medic should be able to take care of that for you. Price should be under $100.
  8. Interested... Pics to secondronseward@aol.com if you would please. Still trying to find a buyer for my truck, interested?
  9. Is that the functioning cowl hood with the vacuum operated flapper? If so, that's a really good price!
  10. I'm with Progressive, and have been completely happy with my insurance. I've had one claim since I've been with them for when the back glass broke out of my Contour, and I felt the claim was handled very quickly and efficiently. When I switched to Progressive my premium dropped by more than half over what GEICO was charging me.
  11. I've got two at home, fortunately neither one of them is in diapers anymore, but you're right, it is ALL worth it. Can't imagine having three at once. Triple the blessing, right?!
  12. I've seen remote control cars move like that, but I didn't think that could be done in a real car...
  13. price drop again, I gotta get my hands on another car.... 1800/obo
  14. Congrats on getting it back together! Can't wait to see it out!
  15. Dropped price again... $2200/obo. c'mon guys, a little tranny work, and you've got a bullet proof pulling truck for dragging your toys around.
  16. Well, we just dumped the car on Germain Chevy for the Recall. My understanding is that safety recalls are forever, whether the car has 10 miles, or 100k. The thing is, the manufacturer is only obligated to send notification to the original owner of the vehicle, with regard to safety recalls. Beyond that, it is the owner's responsibility to find out if they don't have their vehicle serviced at a dealer that would have access to the manufacturer's database. Unfortunately for GM in this case, by the look of it, they'll be on the hook for not only the issue that caused the problem, but also any resulting damage. We'll end up covering any of the resulting damage that GM doesn't under the recall.
  17. Thanks guys, I was able to hit up the nhtsa website, and locate the safety recall on this car. Confirmed with Maxton that the recall hasn't been done on it yet, and it appears that is the cause of the issue.
  18. Very interesting... I'll have to pursue that. Will GM cover any resulting damage from an explosion of this type?
  19. I am writing an estimate on a 00 Monte Carlo SS with the NA 3.8. The damage is from a fire, but it appears that it was really more of a small explosion. Whatever happened, the composite intake manifold exploded into about 6 or 7 pieces, and the resulting fire scorched the wire harness, fuel rails, and a little of the cowl screen. Any ideas what caused this? I pulled pieces of the intake out, and found a puddle of gas and oil directly under the intake, but can't determine if said puddle was there prior to the fire or not.
