I was there two weekends ago, there were a grand total of 5 88-98 Chevy pick ups, and one 'burban of the same body style. The trucks they had were all pretty low optioned, and very picked over. They say that they change over about 60 cars a week on average, so there could be more now. Good luck guys, and happy hunting!

Ok, here's the deal. Truck is having some transmission issues. Driving home from work the other day, I lost third gear. The truck still runs and drives, but won't shift into third. I'm gonna try changing the fluid and filter, but I don't hold much hope for this tranny. The trans is a turbo 400, and will probably run about $600-1000 to rebuild, so I'm dropping the price again. $2500/obo. I need this truck to go, so I can buy something else. I don't have the money to fix it myself, or I probably would. click the link in my sig for more pics.

You're right, I've got a lot to be thankful for. My wife is the best, and I've got two great kids and a loving, supportive family. (I know how to spell Gahanna. I spelled it that way on purpose.)

Check this out... The same day my wife pays off her car, third gear in my truck lets go, and I need a trans rebuild. Thats my luck I guess. Yesterday went from great to bittersweet in a hurry.

No lie, I can't tell you how great it feels to be in this position. Now if I can just keep my two cars on the road for a while and live with no car payments or credit cards, we should be in pretty good shape for a while.

My wife just called me at work today to tell me that our tax return came in. As of today, my wife and I are (with the exception of our house and one small bill in collections) completely debt free! With our tax return, we paid off the Contour and our living room set, and now get to live the good life with only the mortgage and monthly utilities to drag bills out of my wallet. Just had to share!

My deck lid is painted... my door is painted, but its only the black shell part of the door. Saturns have plastic outer skins over the steel space frame. My door has all of the steel shell, glass, and all the guts that make the door work, just no plastic.
