  1. You need it long term, or short? Mine is an 83 with the same 16.5 inch 8 lug. I could lend you my spare for a while if you just need to get around...
  2. What time is your son walking to school, my son goes to Royal Manor, and I drop him off every day. I could keep an eye out.
  3. So, you retained salvage on the vehicle right? The insurance company would have reduced the settlement (check that they give you for the car) by the salvage amount they would expect to get out of it at auction. In most cases it's only a couple of hundred dollars. If you haven't settled yet, and you don't have any desire to part it out yourself, you'll probably be better off letting the insurance company take it. As a whole car, it isn't worth too much, but if you're willing, able, and patient enough to hang on to it and sell it one good part at a time, you should be able to get just about NADA value for it.
  4. Didn't copy right, but... 60% General American English 20% Yankee 10% Upper Midwestern 10% Dixie
  5. i've got one, hitch is that it's old, and it is part of a whole gas range/oven/microwave unit. Sell the whole thing for $30.00, and I'll help you move it.
  6. New Life Vinyl. Guy's name is Patrick. I'll see if I can find the number tomorrow.
  7. Used my "Speedy Rewards" points last night for $.25 off per gallon up to 25 gallons. Saved 6 bucks, and still dropped $76.00 into the *only* tank in the truck. $2.64/gallon at stygler and agler for diesel in my truck.
  8. Me too! Thanks guys for all your hard work so that the rest of us can get our fix!

  10. I wouldn't hold my breath. If anything, you'll have to get them fixed and wait for the reinbursement.
  11. Winn Properties has quite a few rental properties in those areas. I live at the other end of Shawn's neighborhood between McCutcheon and Agler. There are a LOT of houses in there for rent. Winn Properties has most of them, but there are a few others in there too.

  13. I am an insurance estimator for a large insurance company. We use the NADA guide and adjustments for milage and options for a base line figure, but when it comes to settlement, we use the ACV or actual cash value. The ACV takes into consideration any pre-existing damage on the vehicle, milage, and overall vehicle condition. The ACV is usually pretty close to the NADA adjusted figure unless you have unrepaired collision damage, or really bad paint, etc...
  14. 70E TO 69S TO 68E TO 70E TO 81S. Should put you in Richmond in about 7-9 hours. Much more pleasant than going all the way into DC and dealing with the traffic on MD 270, 495 and 95.
  15. I'm not sure about the fenders, but I know you'll need the hood, front bumper cover, absorber, and maybe the reinforcement too. For the lights, you'll need the header (headlight mounting panel), and you'll have to hack into your wire harness to change to the correct connectors for the single bulb/dual element set up in the later bodies. If you're changing to a GT front end, it'll look pretty funny if you don't complete the job by adding the correct cladding all around the car too. That means getting both rocker moldings, the GT rear cover, and all of the associated mounting hardware too. I'm with rl though, I like the 4 eyed monsters.
  16. Yeah, I think I need to do something to one of my cars first... Wait, I need a car worth doing something to... And money to do it!
  17. Congrats on the truck Ben! I'm really glad that you're so happy with it. I'm REALLY happy to get my garage back too! graemlins/nod.gif For you guys that remember Ben's truck from last year, I'm gonna be honest, it is really just that much more desirable now. It has been a long 5 months with your truck in the garage, but I'm glad that I was able to contribute to make this dream of yours a reality. Now that my garage is available again, I can offer it up for some smaller projects if you guys need some space.
  18. Have you tried adjusting the tops yet? For new seals, check with the preferred vendors on ThirdGen.Org.
  19. Team Knight Rider used all Fords. I know that there was a Mustang, and I'm pretty sure there was an Expedition, not sure what the other two were...

    Body Shops?

Gonna have a hard time finding someone to let you work for free. There are insurance and liability issues to be dealt with. I can get you an application if you want it. My company has 4 stores in Cbus. Might be able to sign on in detail, or paint/body apprentice.
