  1. Gonna have a hard time finding someone to let you work for free. There are insurance and liability issues to be dealt with. I can get you an application if you want it. My company has 4 stores in Cbus. Might be able to sign on in detail, or paint/body apprentice.
  2. Got a small one (apartment size) that I could let go. Not ideal, but it's pretty new. $50?
  3. Congrats on the house! It's really nice to know that you have your own space, and no one to tell you what you can and can't do to it. I'll help you move, just gimme a little notice so I can make arrangements with the wife and work.
  4. Rental tags in general. Thrifty has "OE" tags as well.
  5. Currently have a Chevy Suburban with the 6.2 Liter diesel, and a Banks turbo kit. I like it quite a bit for a 22 year old truck. The 6.2 isn't by any means in the same league as the any of todays diesels, and when I finally get to the point that I can buy a new truck, I'm definately going to lean toward the Dodge. We had one come through work this week with over half a million miles! Still running strong. I think that I'd probably lean toward the Ford as a second option though. You might want to be patient though, Toyota is supposed to be releasing a diesel engine in the near future with better numbers than anything in the domestic market. Just wonder if they're going to have a decent truck to put around it...
  6. GM has a new color out on the Equinox and Trailblazer called Superior Blue Metallic that is BEAUTIFUL! It's a real deep bright blue with sort of a purple side cast. Can't wait to have something worth putting it on! tongue.gif
  7. If you want an estimate, I'll be working at Auto Body North tomorrow 8-2. Glad you're ok!
  8. Wasn't there someone on here that had their picture taken with the burger? It was in their sig... Hehe! Badlands looks like a pretty "special" guy!
  9. WD-40 to get it to break loose and evacuate the moisture, white lithium grease once it's free. The white lithium grease will keep it from happening for a longer period of time than WD-40 will.
  10. What kind of two tone are you planning? Are you thinking of going back to the standard third gen break by painting the ground effects, or are you doing some kind of graphic? If you're looking to just two tone the ground effects, I'd do the body in bright metallic blue with silver ground effects. The problem with gunmetal as a two tone color, is that there are very few colors that it complements IMO. The only color that I would put next to the gunmetal as an accent is silver, and I wouldn't use gunmetal to accent anything else.
  11. I've got an old pc. I'll let it go with a marginal monitor, keyboard, and mouse if I can find it. It had internet capability once, but it doesn't recognize the presence of the modem now. I'm sure someone on here could get it working again. How's $25.00?
  12. You'll need more than just the gun. You'll need a pressure regulator, and a water trap at the very least. For the amateur, I think you could get pretty positive results with an economy gun from one of the parts stores. Maybe look at Harbor Freight?
  13. I thought this was going to have something to do with the bike that OCC built.
  14. CSI: CSI: Miami Law & Order Alias (can't miss this one) TLC for Overhaulin', American Chopper, and American Hot Rod History Channel Discovery I watch a lot of TV. graemlins/nonono.gif
  15. I could prob. do it. When, where, and do I need to ref. your name, or will you take my name and sch. an appt?
  16. I don't know you, but what kind of interview on your behalf are you looking for? Is this an interview for a possible membership, or as a potential employee? Need more details. May be able to help you out.

  18. Where do I go to learn C#, and how difficult is it for someone who's never done any computer work before?
  19. Are you changing the gears inside the trans, or are you talking about rear end gears? I don't think you need a trans shop for rear end gears.
  20. pgsrt-4: You've gotta read the first three, then come back and read the fourth again. That series pulls on the previous books so much that it's hard to understand what's going on unless you've already read the previous one. As I recall, there were references in 4 going all the way back to The Gunslinger (1 I believe). There have been so many King books turned movie over the years, and to be honest, I've always preferred the book to the movie. Between IT, The Stand, Tommyknockers, The Langoliers, Christine, I've always felt that the story is too much to fit into one tidy little 105 minute window. But now, it seems that producers aren't so afraid to make multiple pictures to tell the same story, and people seem to be willing to pay to see a movie that is two to two and half hours long in the theaters. Also, I think that the technology is there now to really do justice to King's imagination. Future King movies should be great, as long as the screen writers, producers, and directors stay true to the book.
