  1. Haven't looked at these in a while. Thanks for the reminder. Think I'll go elsewhere for a little more size but thanks for the idea nonetheless. Currently have a 150GB WD Raptor (10,000rpm) as my boot drive on my desktop but I think I can get by with about one of the 80GB Intel SSD's.
  2. There are going to be plenty of Miami fans here this weekend. I mean, sure, they only get around 40k to their home games but these people have been waiting for this for almost 8 years. It won't be anything like how OSU travels but they'll have lots of people here. And I am very hopeful that their little walk/march results in very bad things.
  3. The best part is the Cane Walk/March they'll be doing. A lot of the Cane fans will be meeting over near the fairgrounds then walking/marching to the stadium. Potentially through A LOT of student housing. Here's a video of what they do... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KLMqljH5qoE Someone may very well die.
  4. I know a few Cane fans who will be wearing their Lebron Miami Heat jerseys to the game too.

Get ready for the Cane March on Saturday. I have a feeling someone is going to get shot or stabbed... Also, a neat convo on Facebook between Pryor and some Miami fan... http://i672.photobucket.com/albums/vv87/bigheaddeuce/b28f46a9.jpg lol
  6. I haven't run into a hacked lobby in probably a couple months. And I play almost every night with some friends. I have never seen someone with aimbot/wall hacks in a matchmaking game. Get accused of it all the time though. Because I'm awesome.
  7. Supposedly there's going to be a special thing on the BTN tonight and they're going to announce the conference divisions. I've only been a die hard since 2002 (started watching because of MoC) so I don't have the insane attachment to The Game being at the end of the season like a lot of other people. The thing where cross-division games wouldn't count for or against your record for determining a spot in the conference title game is awful though.
  8. Here's 5 more Demonoid invites...lol. They just keep giving them to me. No idea why. Edited: these still available bicraniumX3gth5swiuwv7qhblvqawiy47qyti bicraniumXkg6g2j7alae74yl8emo3r754vbsm3wg2vrg bicraniumXqnqdu2nr2b4yt7ddqoofrfavvgy69uh62cx
  9. My friend had an apartment in Whitehall for a while and I remember there was a guy there threatening to commit suicide for some reason (why do we put so much effort into stopping people from stopping their drain on society?) so SWAT and everyone was there. He didn't have to evacuate. Said some of the SWAT dudes used his bathroom and one of his cousins gave them lemonade and stuff. Good times.
  10. This is where it crosses the line. Putting a dog down or getting rid of overpopulated animals is just the way things are. But when you make a spectacle of it and seem pretty happy while doing it then there's something wrong with you.
  11. Since I've been watching a lot of Lost lately, I'd go fucking Sayid on that bitch.
  12. When I got mine for my birthday there was a $5 bill in it. I still remember the most money I ever had in it. When I was 7 or so I had $63 for some reason (I was probably selling drugs).
  13. Yeah, that is the case... those stipulations go into effect after July 1st. Coaches must decide whether or not to renew a student-athlete's scholarship before that date. Any time after that it has to be for one of the 4 reasons you mentioned. Per bylaw 15.02.7, all grants-in-aid are awarded for a period of one academic year. The rules for reduction or cancellation of aid are written down, and there is no such thing as an unwritten rule you can be penalized for breaking. Per bylaw 15.3.5.1, a coach may choose on an annual basis to not renew a scholarship for any reason including athletics ability. This is true regardless of how many years a student-athlete has been at an institution. The student-athlete must be notified in writing prior to July 1 of the applicable year of the renewal or non-renewal. If a scholarship is renewed for the pending academic year and that scholarship is signed by the student-athlete, then, per bylaw 15.3.4.2, a coach may only cancel or reduce that scholarship if: a) an athlete renders himself or herself ineligible; b) an athlete fraudulently misrepresents any information on an application, letter of intent or financial aid agreement; c) engages in serious misconduct; or d) voluntarily withdraws from the sport. Once the scholarship offer has been signed, it may not be cancelled based on athletics ability during the period of the scholarship award.
  14. I've had a $15 wallet from Walmart since I was like 15 that doesn't have a single thing wrong with it. Also have my soccer ball wallet from when I turned 5. Think I need to switch over to using that regularly.
  15. Edit: all used again... 1 person didn't point out which one they used. Ninja invite user.
  16. I don't know where you're getting your stuff, I think that may be the stipulations for revoking a scholarship after a certain point (such as during an athlete's season - like Marcus Hall right now, taken off scholarship until he gets his academics in order) but the scholarships have to be renewed every year. It's not automatic. And the Texas kid contacted OSU. They didn't go out and find him, he came to us, sent film and was offered. We immediately jumped into his top 3 along with Miami and Oklahoma. Oklahoma looks like the favorite but, like I said, he came to us and he'll be here for an official visit at some point. Not sure what to think with Price. He's friends or cousins or something with Dorian Bell but there seems to be some kind of disconnect. As you pointed out, he's been here several times but kinda backed off his plan to commit before his season started so who knows what's going on there.
  17. You don't think the logistics of Griffin's offer/scholarship were discussed prior to it being given? There's probably a reason people keep talking about scholarships being year-to-year with regards to Griffin. And DiLillo is still on scholarship. He's got something personal going on right now so OSU is being delicate. They're not kicking him out the door, but they're definitely holding it open by doing things like not inviting him to fall camp. And Durham will be good for us down the line but not at LB. He's a LEO, think he was moved there within the first week or so of camp after a little work at LB just to make sure. We still have a shot at a couple true LB's in the 2011 class with Ejuan Price out of PA and the kid from Texas who just got an offer this past week. As far as the secondary is concerned, I like the kids that should be filling in next year. Chekwa and Torrence may very well have truly special seasons this year but I like what I've read about kids like Travis Howard and Corey "Black."
  18. Scholarships are renewed on a yearly basis. Obviously it's very rare that OSU doesn't renew a student-athletes scholarship but that seems to be the idea with Griffin. We had an extra scholarship since we weren't going to take Latwan Anderson and we weren't going to get Seantrel Henderson (both in the 2010 class with Griffin) so they put Archie's kid on full ride for a year. If he stays on scholarship past that then there will probably be a lot of upset people because the 2012 class in Ohio is absolutely loaded and we're tight on scholarships for that year as it is.
  19. People didn't hop on the Hall hype train because of mop up duty, they hopped on it because of the way he performed in practice. He never really got a chance to shine on gameday because he was a true freshman still needing to learn stuff like pass protection. But people who see practices thought (and still think) he is actually the best pure RB on the team. Offering Hall had nothing to do with Pryor, OSU doesn't waste scholarships like that. Also, people who saw Barnett play in HS figured he'd be moved to safety once he got to OSU. He doesn't have the hips or closing ability of a college/NFL CB. It'll be interesting to see what happens with Sabino. Sweat was not expected to recover this quickly and this well from the ACL so people naturally thought Sabino would get the open spot and Sweat would redshirt to create separation. Maybe Sabino can get some reps at the LEO spot behind Nate Williams or something. And I was really worried about DL depth coming into fall camp, we lost 2 starters and a lot of quality depth from last year coming into this one but with John Hankins showing up and reportedly being a monster (who isn't a monster at 6'3", 340?) on the inside along with Bellamy looking good I'm feeling better.
  20. Yeah, it was only up for another hour or so after I posted it. And they were the standard Microsoft wireless controllers. Usually $40 or so online.
  21. Yeah, an all-purpose/potpourri torrent site. Programs, movies, TV shows, etc. Its semi-exclusive nature and large user base produces high speeds and helps limit hit and run seeding/leeching.
  22. Depth chart for Marshall was released today. Some surprises and some things we knew were coming... -- C.J. Barnett starting over Ohrian Johnson at SS (might be an injury thing but Barnett is good) -- Sabino an OR backup at middle linkebacker along with Klein, Sweat the SLB backed up by Newsome (Sweat has had an amazing camp and healed from his ACL thing faster than even he could have expected) -- Both Corey Browns in the two deep (though Philly shares an "or") -- Adams, as expected, starting, backed up by Miller. Norwell backup at RT (fucking Marcus Hall ) -- Boom and Saine the only backs listed and as an OR
  23. $20 wireless controllers at Dell right now: http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/products/XBOX_360/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=A1139434&ACD=10550055-3668349-&AID=3668349 If you get one there's $6.99 shipping plus tax so it's almost $30 so not an AMAZING deal but still pretty good. But if you get 2 it gets you free shipping so after tax 2 of them comes out to about $42. This is good for me as I go through about 1 a month from throwing them in rage at MW2.
  24. PM'ed you the last unused one of the 5 I posted. I'm pretty sure there's an option where you can have it list ONLY Demonoid trackers. At least I think I saw the option the last time I was there.
  25. I registered there 4-5 years ago and it was when they were doing open registrations every Friday after 4PM or something weird. I barely use it because it's really not that good. Also, I got caught downloading stuff on Demonoid because they include public tracker stuff in their search results if you don't change some option. If the site was as good and exclusive as some believe they wouldn't hand out invites constantly to people like me with a ratio less than 1.0 and not even 20 GB of stuff uploaded/downloaded.
