Damn, this project is moving right along, very cool though. What are you doing with the floor for the garage? I'm assuming your going to eventually pour concrete, but are you just waiting to get the walls in place (or at least the base of them) to pour it so you don't have to frame it?

I saw the car out at sawmill a couple weeks ago and I talked to the owner. The owner is a super nice guy, just seemed like he didn't know a lot about cars other than how to drive them. When he told me he had ctd build the car I kind of cringed a little, but he said he wanted to sell it and get back into a mustang.

Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one so here is mine. I like how it looks in the pic but it could use a little improvement. If it were me I would make it a little lower and add a little more to the extension bar (a couple diagonal braces from the outside edges of the tub to the center of the support bar). Again this is just my opinion and as long as your son enjoys it then that's all that matters. :thumbup:

I have a 94 F-150 I'm looking to sell. 2wd, 300 straight 6, 5 speed, ~160000 miles, twin tanks. The truck runs pretty well. It needs a thermostat which I'm going to put in this weekend and I believe one of the tanks either leaks or doesn't work. Interior is in pretty good shape, the outside looks like an old work truck, there is dents and rust. CR price is 1200, I'll be asking 1500 on cl. I will get pics this weekend as the truck is at my parents house.

I would say go with the camaro, sounds like its in better shape. Just my two cents.

Fwiw, center bolt heads aren't necessarily vortec heads. They are likely the factory heads on the motor you have, Chevy used center bolt heads from 86.5 on.

I know where I'm from, if someone says they "own the block" and tend to be in everyone's business, then that tends to be the kind of person to steal something like that.
