I agree, I have been working closely with Kevan to focus on stability rather than performance (I.E. Engine, exhaust, etc.). We had originally purchased a different set of coilovers, but they were factory recalled due to a leak in the tube so we saved some money and got the Godspeed ones. With the money we saved, we are considering getting a three point strut tower as well but we are going to wait and see how she holds with these parts first. As Second Gen said, no adjustable stuff from the factory... but many do claim that the default settings from Mazda are decent enough to get the job done. I'm no expert, but I'v always felt in control at autocross. I blame driver skill for poor performance, haha Coilovers are due here sometime early next week. More pics to come very soon!

I Thought I would resurrect this thread since I have made a few purchases for the upcoming autocross season. While the overall goal of project "Banshee" is to turn it into a 4 rotor someday, I wanted to document all the parts and their instillation in the upcoming weeks. This is the first time in my life I have dumped money into my car and I am very excited to be honest. In the next few weeks all these parts will go on the car. Well, the background can be easily removed in the printing process. I uploaded a 300 DPI image so the recreation to sticker should be seamless. A one color, no background set of 50 from carstickers.com would run us about $78 which puts each of them at ~$1.56 a sticker. A set of 30 would be $58.50 ( or ~$1.95 each) If there was serious interest in this then I would be fine with paying for them and asking anyone to just chip in what they feel its worth. I am not here to make money, i'm here to enjoy cars. haha! so far I have seen about 5 or 6 people who have confirmed that they would use the sticker, So I would be interested to know what all of CR thinks before I would commit to purchasing these.

Ok, Long time since my last update... but its been busy so here is what I got. The link below will take you to a 3200x2400 image of the first image in White. I have also provided the wire frame version for anyone who is interested in that sort of thing. all depends on how you use them. If you baby them and don't thrash them then they can last longer, but if you thrash them and red line before every gear change then they will degrade sooner. The reason for most (not all but most) rebuilds are the wearing down of the apex seals which typically last ~100k miles. My current engine has about 75k in its seals, so a rebuild is likely for me within a year or so.

Early prototypes of a retro/Shelby font. very much a work in progress, haha My research is showing that that design is a "Ford Only" thing and there is no font I can find that is close to that. My troubles continued when I tried to split a line down the middle of the font in the previous logo. The font is called "Good Times" and it REALLY does not like to be split.
