  1. I never had a set of sharkskin because I'm poor. but I can honestly attest their quality. I have painted several sets and they are very well made. cheap stuff always has air pockets that made it to the outer layer and it's basically a hole in the surface. I have never found one of those on sharkskins.
  2. thanks. I been looking in the wrong stuff. I couldn't find it in the google+ stuff. kind of a odd place for it but I see it now.
  3. every time I take a picture with my phone fucking google plus has it uploaded and publicly posted on their fucking site. where's the settings to stop this? on the phone or on their website? i don't find this kind of thing useful. I find it very annoying and an invasion of privacy to be honest.
  4. no, you're just full of shit

  6. you need to see a doctor. it takes on average 53 hours. it's not the mcd's coming out.
  7. I worked at cincinnati glass block a few years ago. go to home depot they sell glass block. any idiot can do this if you have general construction knowledge. they sell the mortar too. most glass block companies use silicone instead of mortar now. not sure if home depot sellsyjr proper silicone for this or not. they should. you want clear. measure the opening and bring it with you. bring a tape measure. the blocks come in a few different sizes. sometimes you have to go with a few of one size and one of another to get as close as possible. to assemble the blocks lay them down on a flat surface and glue them together. silicone is so much easier for this job. let it set up for a day or two. and it's ready to install. if you use mortar that's a big time mess and undertaking because you have to space the blocks etc to get a even look. you basically do it just like a brick wall. they also of course sell the mortar that goes around the window. it's not the same as the mortar you assemble the glass block with. buy a foam brush too. you will need to mix it with water and you can use whatever you want to fill the opening with. I often just used my hands. pad the window up at the bottom with cedar shims. you want the window centered in the opening for the best apperance. now use the other shims to hold the window tight in the opening. cut the shims back with a razor blade as flush as you can. now you can pack the gap with the mortar. they also have a bag like a cake maker uses for icing. they come in handy but not really needed for just one job. after you pack the sides, top and bottom scrape it flat with a trowel etc. then dip your brush in water and use it to finish the mortar. if you lived in cincy I'd do it for about $80 not including the materials. you'll end up paying about $200 I would guess for a glass block company to do it.
  8. ^ well moving on is pretty much the only real option. bitching about it is just going to fall on deaf ears. and everyone that learns of the situation will think of him the same way...asshole. I'm not calling you an asshole scott. lol. but Im sure people on the receiving end would have if you made a complaint.
  9. don't use prices on your business cards. 1. it's there as long as someone has it. so you're stuck with that price and now everyone he tells about you will want that price 10+ years from now 2. it's not a sales flier. get a website. with that and google adwords works pretty well.
  10. don't get suckered by the BBB. if you haven't heard the BBB is just a scam. they're not an official program or authority of any kind. anyone that pays them money can get a A+ rating. which is bullshit. you get 10 complaints and want them gone...pay $400 and poof....gone plus they're going to be calling you all the time about that shit. I leaned this personally. I had never done work for some of the people they claimed was making a complaint. one complaint came from a ad agency. I suspect because I had to cuss them out on the phone because of the non stop harrassment wanting me to advertise with them. oh and leave the groupon shit for coffee houses and restaurants
  11. I shipped a transmission for $75 via ups. it was $50 for some fairings. weight plays less of a role than the size of the box. I bought a generator on ebay for $280 shipped. free shipping in other words. dude needed a dolly to get it to my door.
  12. probably the rules for your area. I used to live in a ghetto and no one would leave packages. it sucked because if I miss them they leave a notice and I have 3 chances to meet or I have to schedule a pickup by the 3rd day or it goes back to the sender. that means I have to drive to the post office, ups or fedex to get my stuff myself. talk about not getting what you pay for.... where I live now they leave them all.
  13. I know someone that delivers mail. he said they are not allowed to back the vehicles up at all. so she's breaking all kinds of rules.
  14. unless he was late and works for dicks and got in trouble for it or fired. maybe she's selfish for getting herself in that predicament
  15. goog thing it's not a mazda. mazda's have been built pretty poor lately from what I see. a buddy of mine had a 07 3 and it was in the shop several times for warranty work. even needed a new rack and pinion. and it was going out again when he sold it.
  16. the first thing I would do is suspension work but that's me.
  17. look into real tv's. like a panasonic etc. as far as i'm concerned a LG is about as good as a insignia or some other chinese pos you never heard of. I had to return the LG computer monitor I bought a few years ago because it had dead pixels. in 2010 it still came with dead pixels. thats low grade chinese shit right there.
  18. barefoot wheelies FTW! don't be hatin you aint got the balls to try it
  19. the engine I bought from autozone is 3 year/100k mile warranty. just for perspective.
  20. those were known for going bad. I had 154k on mine and never needed one. I put a new crate motor in it because it spun the #1 and #4 rod bearings. right now it has about 50k and still fine. that motor was used in many different cars from the pontiac sunfire to cavaliers and trucks. it's not a bad engine but it's not great either. it's very weak and known for bad heads more than anything else.
