  1. oh yeah you know I'll be there. going to bring the gas RC buggy with me lol you guys better bring those traxxas trucks of yours.
  2. NRC covers are indestructible. ugly but tough. you will be able to keep riding after a crash with them. http://www.nrcracing.com/covers.php
  3. sorry if this has been covered but I can't seem to edit a post. is there some kind of time limit or something? that's gay. GAY!
  4. I would but I already have a female. and she's kind of a bitch to other dogs. I'm sure they'd fight. I want to come get her badly because she looks so much like mine. except all the black is white on mine. if it wasn't so far for me to drive I'd love to introduce them and see how they get along.
  5. that tuner isn't very smart because pretty much everywhere you buy gas has cleaners added to it now. Marathon uses stp. shell has their stuff, BP has theirs, chevron has techron and so on.
  6. I would highly recommend Ferodo sintered pads either the st or array cooling st pads. tons more stopping grip than ebc and galfer pads.
  7. you need a set of quality tires. I can power up wheelies in the wet and go full throttle from a take off and not spin. bridgestone bt-016 pro. anyway, this rain is getting to be a load of crap. it's a repeat of thursday. rain all the way to the gulf coast. up through the ohio valley. christ this is way too much rain. it's fucking up my workouts lol. (i don't go to a gym)
  8. if you're wanting them for the R6 my buddy as a set you can get for $100. they're not hotbodies. not sure of the brand. but they have never been crashed and are painted with automotive grade paint and clear coated. ( no spray can crap) comes with the fairing stay and puig double bubble windscreen http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/mcy/3905821910.html
  9. $50 is a good price for oem. they're a lot better than some aftermarket rotors. I looked into buying some last year and found all kinds of negative reviews for all the major brands of aftermarket rotors. the biggest complaints were they warped after a short time and the rotors get slop where the buttons go and the disc moves (fore and aft). no one complains about the oem rotors do that.
  10. he's a politician. they say anything you want to hear to get elected. they're all on the same team. they all bullshit their way through life.
  11. I would never buy a used set. you're taking a gamble. I have a good set they're still in my truck lol what's wrong with the ones you have?
  12. I don't know how those come up with your speed, when I drive past one in my truck it says exactly what my speedo says but my phone and garmin says I'm going 4 mph slower. figure that out.
  13. you know when you signed up for AAA they don't do motorcycles. it says right there on the damn thing. some guy tried it on a group ride when he crashed his bike and they said sorry about your luck lol and this is why I own a pick up truck. cars and suv's are worthless to me
  14. titties but seriously if you're making a site to sell things. make sure the inventory availability is accurate. I frigging hate ordering shit and they email me about being out of stock or on back order.
  15. the best place around the gap to get your bike worked on is wheelers. http://www.wheelersperformance.com/
  16. interesting thing about suspension settings on the street....there is no perfect setting. the ever changing pavement types and surface conditions pretty much make doing it useless. the only setting you should get right is your sag. that's what your suspension is resting at with you sitting on it all geared up. get that in the ballpark and your suspension will work as good as it can for everything you ride it on. setting the rebound and compression somewhere in the middle is plenty good enough. thomas, vortex makes a nice lowering link for the sv. while I don't recommend lowering it for handling reasons it's your bike, https://www.vortexracing.com/shop/product/16670/1317/
  17. acetone is great at removing paint actually. but not something like car paint. spray paint maybe. I use it to clean stuff off plastics all the time and it doesn't seem to bother the plastic. I would try it in a hidden spot first.
  18. the debonder works but not when it can't reach the glue. on the stomp grip it may not work all that well in some areas and others it might work great. . I'm into rc cars and use it on my fingers when gluing up tires. it takes some time sometimes but it does work. but it will not debond a rubber tire from a plastic rim. you should be able to find it locally at a rc hobby shop. most hobby shops sell this brand, http://www.bsi-inc.com/Pages/hobby/accel.html acetone also works but not as fast.
  19. I also noticed that firefox's spell check doesn't work here.
  20. not sure why you guys would be spending any time prepping something you're using this stuff on. it's not a real paint job and you're using it to cover stickers and scratches in the first place. especially if it peels back off easy. if you're taking the time to make the fairings look good why not use real paint? if you can takle painting with that I bet you're good enough to takle using real paint. it's really not as hard as it sounds. just takes practice and patience.
  21. I seen a post somewhere recently by graves yamaha (could have been their forum) and they said they actually do use that oil in all their race bikes and it performs great. they said yamaha spends a lot of money develping that oil. I often wonder about the oem oil's quality. i guess if they trust it it must be pretty good stuff.
  22. I have not but every time I see a craigslist ad from them the bike is way over priced in my opinion. I believe they buy fucked up bikes and fix them back up. I think they end up with too much invested in them to give a fair deal. I could be wrong for the most part.
  23. IDK i know i'm going to get some flack for saying this but the layout is terrible. I like the reply box and all of it's options. and a few other things about the new site but over all it's got too much going on and it's too much of a cluster to easily navigate through. it's not intutitive at all. I would not have chosen this layout for a forum.
  24. I bet hes posting on a forum and said some asshole about ran him over by changing into his lane and almost clipping his back tire.
  25. I almost bought that thing last summer. I decided I didn't need to spend that much and bought this, http://www.lowes.com/ProductDisplay?partNumber=221377-40307-720-0737&langId=-1&storeId=10151&productId=3264939&catalogId=10051&cmRelshp=req&rel=nofollow&cId=PDIO1 so far so good. all SS burners and cast iron grids. does not come with a cover though. it seems like most don't these days. if you don't cover it the bottom will fill up with water. any of you know anyone with the infrared grills yet?
