Dublin ohio rides, Who is this crazy person!

Yeah...that's a good way to ruin a bike. Road salt eats away at everything. Destroys o-rings in chains, wheel bearing seals and any rubber seals open to the air.

Looks like a cheap beater, doesn't even have the tail plastic, fairing lowers, or windshield...I doubt the rider cares much about the condition of this bike.

That said, if It's warm enough to ride a snowmobile, It's warm enough to ride a motorcycle.

They offer similar protection, the problem is traction, and if I don't have traction, I'm not enjoying the ride.

Coldest I rode was 5* and snowing... Had very little traction on my pr2's on the vfr... Had to go pretty slow and didn't enjoy it... With some knobby tires, it would have been fine... Just gotta bundle up.. I actually have a 1 piece Arctic edition carhartt suit that kept me warm no problem

Hell, I would have hit a parking lot and called a cab.Or walked, or got a hotel room or slept at work. That was just plain stupid, imho.

Saturday morning while driving home from work I saw a guy on a bike with a side car heading up the hill in Batavia towards Eastgate on some horrible roads. In the car I couldn't even get up to 40 without slipping. Took me twice as long to get home.

For anyone wanting to be in the elements, on

icy/snowy/slushy roads, this may be your spot

of tea.

IMZ-Ural is a Russian maker of heavy sidecar

motorcycles. Recently the company has

developed a solo motorcycle with no sidecar.

URAL motorcycles are equipped with four-stroke,

air-cooled, flat-twin engines, a four speed gear

box with reverse gear, shaft drive, two disc dry

clutch, spring shock absorbers, and drum brakes.

The sidecar wheel is powered, making it a 2WD

vehicle.

There was a YouTube video of one plowing snow,

but I can't find it.

I almost want one.

This weekend a friend and were talking about how much fun it would be to thrash around on a Can Am Spider in the snow. The streets in our subdivision are coated with a mix of hard pack snow and ice.

Imagine that, a street snowmobile.. in snow...lol
