Sensa has a low pro one too 10R I think. The low profile one has a separate battery pack that you have to mount on the back of the helmet, the smh10 is self contained, and I don't think the boom Mic is available with it. jdonn
This is correct - there is a wired mic. In the end, it's whichever you think looks best. The low pro one also has a smaller range.
Bad324
Smh10 is what I use. Have no complaints and love it
Connie14
I also have the Sena SMH10 and love it. If you go with the Sena, make sure to do the firmware updates to keep up with the improvements over time. It is easy and only takes a few minutes. jch82
I have had the SMH10 for about 5 years now and it is still going strong. My buddy and I have used them all over the country and they work great. Battery life is good too for long trips, turn them on in the morning and they are still going strong when we turn in for the night. That is constant use either talking or listening to music all day. sporttour
I take business calls on my SMH10 while riding; no one knows I am on my bike. Good stuff. Edited April 9, 2014 by sporttour
wantahertzdonut
We have the SMH10 as well. No complaints other than the speakers in my Shoei RF1100 helmet squeeze the outermost part of my ear which gets painful after a while. At that point, I need to stop, take my helmet off, and push the speakers back in place. It's rare so it's hardly a big deal. What is important is the sound is clear when communicating which makes couple rides more pleasant.
electrode
Does anyone have experience with an app called MotoChat? The wife and I both use our IPhones for music and nav while riding so I might give this a try.
TimTheAzn
+1 for the SMH10. Amazing little device. Have yet to try out the intercom yet as I ride by myself most of the time Sent from my iPhone.
Bad324
Intercom is fun but I found the range on it to be lackluster. Fine by me cause I've only used it once and didn't really buy it for that purpose
