My new (to me) track bike.

I purchased this bike a few months back and made a few small changes.  I sent the suspension to Thermosman, put an auto tuner on it, put a quick shifter on it, new chain and sprockets, recovered the seat, added tank sliders, and a few other things I'm sure I'm forgetting.  I can't wait to try her out at Barber in two weeks.

Here is the list of goodies on the bike.

  • Ohlins 25mil cartridge kit 1.05.  Refreshed and tuned by Thermosman.

  • Elka triple clicker rear shock New rear spring.  Refreshed and tuned by Thermosman

  • Ohlins steering damper (oem body but has been revalved with race internals)

  • Leo Vince Full SS Exhaust System

  • GB case covers

  • Woodcraft Clip Ons

  • Vortex Rearsets

  • 520 chain and sprockets New Driven Sprockets and DID 520 ERV3 chain.

  • Motion Pro revolver throttle

  • Power Commander V

  • Armour Bodies Race bodywork with D-zus fasteners

  • CRG race brake and clutch levers

  • Tech Spec tank pads

  • SS brake lines

  • Vesrah brake pads

  • Keyless Ignition

  • Puig Race windscreen

  • Keyless gas cap

  • PCV Autotune

  • Rear brake reservoir delete

  • Renthal gray grips

  • Captive spacers

  • K&N air filter

  • Ivan's Block off plates

Nice looker...ZX6R? Are those wheels orange?

Thank you.  It is an 09 ZX6R.  The wheels are painted orange now but I am thinking about having them powder coated later on.  The paint has seen better days.

I'm not sure that bike is safe to ride.

You should let me ride it just to make sure!!! :)

Sounds good to me.  It will be nice to see it ridden properly for a change.

SEXY looking track bike! Love Elka, personally i think they are the best shocks on the market.

I've heard good and bad things about them. I'm really looking forward to trying them out.

Looked at the pictures closer - how did the swing-arm get scuffed on both sides?

Boot wear made the scuffs?

Yep, the scuffs are from the previous owner's boots.
