Cages went on just in case because it’s a little sketchy backing it up especially in gravel. She’s kinda tall with the custom seat.

Yeah, I really like my canyon cages, just have to watch leaning over too far. I've drug my left cage several times.

Bike is awesome, and not what you would expect as far as cockpit comfort on a dirt bike. Real calm and little buffeting and thankfully today the heated grips and jacket cranked You were in my hood and didn't even stop in for a beer? 2talltim
Well got all the other coolant hoses today and stripped her back down and put them on. Glad I didn't say fuck it on the oil cooler lines the one was dried out and cracked about half way through. Recovered the coolant that's only been in the bike for less than a week and filtered it through a rag and there was a bit of sedoment that came out with it. When I put the fairings back on last week they fought me like something was wrong. Today they just fell into place. Today I also took my trim pieces that are under my handle bars and gave them a coat of plastidip. These had stain marks on then from brake fluid spills from my clutch and brake res a few years ago. Cant put the scews in yet till dry but look much better. Sorry forgot to take a before pic. I'm sure I have one somewhere. Was going to rode to work tomorow but I was ask to take a coworker home so I guess she will have to wait another day.

What made you want to pin them like that? I thought about doing it that way but decided I wanted them more easily removable. So I went this route. Howabusa
I pinned my bags on the FJR last year. Most of the FJR guys say it isn’t necessary but they are expensive bags.

The C14s are notorious for flying off if a bump is hit just right and the bag didnt get latched properly.
2talltim
Im always leaving the key in my panniers because of convenience. What isn't convienent is when I kick it and bend it sideways. So today I fix all that for $7 and some stuff I already had. Stopped at a local hardware store and had 3 keys made for $7. Found 3 oil caps in the trash and some epoxy in the tool box and a can of plastidip. Why 3 you ask? Incase i fucked one up and or lost one later Before.... Durring.... after.... Well they could but the lock set was about the same price. It was only $28 I've had old cases and ignitions that got finicky (or free with lost keys) and just pulled the tumblers out for any key shape to work. Thanks @Casper... If it looks like a lock and latches what are the chances a thief sticks something in it to turn it? My first 80's car you could not-by-design start it and pull the keys out. I'd put the window down and drive around with them in the door lock

Killer_kaw
While we’re on the subject of keys. I called IP to make a service appointment to get new keys programmed. They said no appointments just bring it up it’s a quick job. So I slab for an hour to get it done today and they couldn’t really squeeze it in.

The more of these stories I hear, and I've heard quite a few lately, the more I do not want to give them any of my money.
TimTheAzn
LOL F Iron Pony. If I lived close I'd only use them to try on gear. And use their parking lot to meet up with people. Even their sponsored posts here are generic, not tailored to the members here. I've almost asked Ben how much they pay a year to be a sponsor, so I could pay just to not have them on here. I even tell their Associates that when they come and ask me if they can help me. I just tell them don't want to take up thier time because I'm not going to buy it here anyway. I have found a few things in there on clearance I've purchased but pretty rare. You would think with their buying power and the size they are they would be competitive in their pricing but No they're always full-blown retail.
