how much would you pay for this car?

got a buddy who may be interested in this car. thought id check with you guys and see what you think a fair asking price is for this, so i can pass it along to him

 

1996 240sx SE

The car made 419whp and 390ftlb at only 19psi. This was on a dynodynamics dyno tuned by dentsport garage.

That car is beautiful, it looks to have easily $15k invested in it and worth it.

 

Looking at the parts list there's a lot more invested than only $15k, probably a little more than double that. My guess is he's asking some where between $22-$28k, which is very fair IMO. Those are all TOP of the line parts, best stuff you could buy for that car more or less. Just those interior gauges are worth ~$1700.

It's worth what you are willing to pay it doesn't matter how much you have in parts because resale on cars is so complicated. It is worth what someone is willing to pay. I might be able to sell my car for $4500, but it is "worth" like $3500 if that. Just somthing to contemplate.

 

Clean car though. I love the silvia nose.
