oh8sti Posted April 18, 2009 Report Share Posted April 18, 2009 i set my clock for 7:45 and woke up.....looked outside at my car.... went back to me bed. i didnt get in till 3am. Phil, me, josh, and ryan were "crusin'", then we here a pop and phil pulls over and his cylinder #8 plug wire is off and the plug is not even finger tight. Needless to say Josh (E55) and his buddy were able to get some tools to fix it. I wish now i would have just got my ass out this morning! Next week! On a side note, I got pulled over by campus police by the medical center as I left. Got me going 32 in a 25, and he mentioned my no front plate. Turned out to be a cool guy though, I guess he knew about our event this morning, and that's the excuse I gave him for not having my front plate on . He just gave me a warning. He also told me to watch out for highway patrol using helicopters all day today patrolling 33 out near lancaster where I live, which was nice. I noticed the 25mph speed sign and cruised at 30mph the whole way as I remember it being a hot-spot back when I was in school there too. Wonder if it was one of the two guys there today? Cool that he let you go though. I still say since I saw one CPD there when I arrived at 7:45, the two OSU cops and then another CPD drive by that they monitor the board and knew about it. If so, I hope they got their fill of the who we really are. A big THANK YOU to everyone who came, and had a great time! I tried to meet everyone, but I know I didn't see some people (Jeff and Brandon at IPS!!!!). The nice thing is it'll happen again in two Saturdays from now! Quite a few peeps were not CR regulars, but were impressed with the quality of people that were in attendance. ColsRacing still has an unfair stigma locally, and this morning was an awesome cross-section of our membership that still showed how good of a group we really are.
