I learned what I do from Koolray's actually... But we have a 3 step setup so after I do the burnout, I turn on my 1st step, foot brake into the first and then second beam (maybe 1-2lbs of boost) on the first step (about 2400 rpms) then when I light the 2nd beam I grab the trans brake releasing the 1st step and activating the 2nd step (set to like 4400rpms) and build about 5lbs of boost. Lights start to drop and I let go of the trans brake. That is pretty much it.... of I do my burn out with the line lock since pushing the foot brake activates the first step. Hope that helps.
