What's your favorite car/exhaust setup?

So obviously everybody will have their personal preferances, but what to YOU, is the perfect car sound? Something a little more realistic, as in what we could see around town potentially althought I'd love to hear a Bugatti screaming down the freeway at any point. lol

 

Personally to me, my 06 GT with longtubes, offroad H, Bassani exhaust, and Comp cams sounds like sex on wheels but I realize other folks have their favorite sound. What is it?

Realistically?

 

24v VR6 sounds like sex, especially if you add a turbo:

Pretty much any V8 Mustang with a good exhaust setup, whether it's a stock motor or built. Corvettes can sound pretty amazing too

My Integra, simply because it sounds like a bike when I open it up. I do have a soft spot for the sound of a mustang as well

I like the Black Vette that goes to the Cars and Coffee Saturdays with the electric cutouts, forget the guys name off top of my head.

 

Thought that was a very nice balanced sound with the cut out open.

The first thing to come to mind is an open header race car, something LSx or BBC. Then again a V10 Ford F350 dually with no mufflers sounds amazing. I personally don't care for the sound of most Mustangs, and an LSx car doesn't sounds too great either without a cam.

Yeah I forgot about diesel trucks! They have some badass exhaust systems that coupled to 750 torque acclerating....sounds damn good.

Brian, you're thinking of Tom's car (Black C6 Z06). That is my #1 pick so far.

 

I personally love the F355 with a Tubi exhaust. I consider that to be "realistic" as you can pick up F355s for newer Z06 money, and the small, hi-revving V8 sounds awesome.

Let's see... I like V8 Mustangs, LSX w/cam, 7MGTE or 2JZGTE (jet plane sounds), and as far as 4bangers I prefer the Subaru Boxer rumble or screaming S2K.

My GTO sounds meh to me when I'm driving it, but when I hear it from outside when someone else is driving I'm surprised by how good it sounds.
