It's all about ad revenue generation. It's no different than the video of the MR2 beating the Blackbird GTR. The Blackbird GTR mopped the floor with that car... UNTIL he had a boost leak from a quarter sized whole in a charge pipe coupler. The vid at the top of this thread is the same kind of thing. A Turbo and sprayed V6 stang got a couple cheap wins when the GTR had issues.
