If we can contain Cooper, we win the game.

I'm not 100% sold on that, but it is key #1. they have a good run game too with two solid backs and a qb that can move well. At the end of the day, osu and bama have a lot of similarities. This should be an awesome game. I had to get my post op cast in scarlet.....it might have a block o on it now too

Your defense trying to contain cooper is going to leave a lot of holes and Alabama is going to eat that up. I hope try put most of their focus on Cooper

I agree it's going to leave holes, but your offense is FAR too reliant on Cooper. Joey Bosa is going to give Blake Sims nightmares.

They need to focus on slowing cooper down while trying to keep the run game under control.....that is going to be tough. I have a bet for you. sticker bet. OSU wins you put an osu sticker on the quarter glass. bama wins I put a bama sticker on the quarter glass. this is on the daily driver. you in? sticker stays on until after the super bowl.

Bosa is going to get shut down. That's really the biggest defensive play maker OSU has and if you think Saban and company don't address that you are insane. Mark my words, Bosa isn't going to be a difference maker in this game.

He doesn't have to be a difference maker, just do his job and the other 10 guys follow suit, OSU will be fine. FWIW, I think Bosa is a difference maker already if Bama is scheming ways to keep him under control. IF they double him, then that means someone else is open.

They'll do with Cooper what they did vs. MSU and Lippett. Grant will follow him all night and have safety help from time to time. They didn't get killed by Langford and the run and Grant shut Lippett down. Their other guys burned OSU early because Apple was dinged up and they had Conley out there but Apple eventually went in and it was done. Apple is 100% for this game and the DL played an incredible game vs. Wisconsin (not just Bosa - Washington has been quietly great over the last few games and Bennett was an absolute monster). Cooper is obviously better than Lippett but Grant has to see this as a great opportunity to increase his draft stock vs. a top 10 pick.

Bama will probably put up an MSU-like number on offense. It's going to come down to OSU being able to put up what they did vs. MSU on Bama's defense. What worries me most is the same thing that worried me going into the Wisconsin game... at some point OSU's backup/3rd string QB is going to look not amazing. It has to happen right?

Anyone know if Harbaugh mentioned the rivalry with OSU during his presser?

Everyone was waiting for a guarantee and someone eventually just asked him about it and he said the programs are so good (MSU and OSU) and he made a guarantee in his past that didn't pan out and he's learned from that so no guarantee vs. rivals. SOUNDS LIKE A PUSSY BITCH TO ME.

Something interesting I read last night... Harbaugh and Meyer were born in the same hospital 201 days apart. http://www.13abc.com/story/27724405/jim-harbaugh-and-urban-meyers-hospital-ties-in-toledo

Also, Urban tried really hard to get on Saban's staff when Saban was at Toledo. Cell phones weren't the norm back then so Urban had to track down Saban's home number and spoke with Saban's wife for a while and felt she was sold so he told Shelley they were going to Toledo. Saban never called him back and Urban ended up coaching WR's at Colorado State for a while. Apparently Saban's wife likes to remind Nick from time to time that she was right and he was wrong. :lolguy: http://www.nytimes.com/2009/12/05/sports/football/05coaches.html?_r=1&
