TTQ B4U
Started driving in 1985 and was proud as heck to have a 1983 Black over Silver Hurst Olds. Not quite the 1976 version my parents had back when I was a little kid but it worked. Underpowered but still a cool fucking car. Had this through the tail end of my college days. http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj84/crms3er/hurst_zps379c3a16.jpg Edited January 27, 2015 by TTQ B4U

DaddyBuiltRacing
AE86 Corolla (circa 2000), bought it off the husband of a lady I worked with. Put a system in the trunk and would sit in my driveway listening to it because I didn't have a license, but had a car haha. Had absolutely no clue what the car was other than it being a red Toyota that I could haul my buddies around in. I knew it would go sideways around corners which I found to be enjoyable. Paid $800 for it, got hit leaving school one day and ended up with a $2500 check for it being totaled. Years later once I really got into the import car world, I learned just what that car was and kicked myself in the ass for letting it go. Oh well, I was 16 with $2500 in my pocket haha. TurboGoKart
1989 Buick Centry, which was followed up by a 1990 Pontiac 6000. So glad I'm done with those turds haha. For what it's worth, those 2 cars got airborne during my time driving them. Lolz.
Jewtoys
1989 Turbo Probe :lolguy: Bought it before I even knew how to drive manual, or had a license. Not fast, but it was quicker then my friends modded late 90s Mustang GT which was hilarious. http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1212/4798801/9950206/142125521.jpg
Kohones
Heh heh, my first car cost me $250. It was a 1965 Plymouth Valiant. Motor was called a 225 slant 6! Also had a 3 speed auto tranny, which I promptly blew up on the drag strip! Before I blew it up I thought I was sooo cool, running like 18's with it! Sold that car then for $100, that's when I bought a 1964 Chevy Impala (wish I still owned the Impala)

KillJoy
Mine was a 1984 Ford Escort L. My Dad got it from a family friend for $250. Drove it for a year and sold it for $500. KillJoy
ShowHBK
1994 Dodge Neon Mine was not anywhere near as good looking as this. Paint was chipping off everywhere and the body was rusted beyond belief. Drive it in HS and College and tried to kill it many of times just so I could buy a new car. The AT would never act right and the thing could not get over 60 sometimes on the HW... hate this car so much, haha Best part was, I got a $1500 for it when I sold it =D http://s1.cdn.autoevolution.com/images/gallery/DODGENeon1995-1100_2.jpg
AudiOn19s
1984 S-10. Bought when I was 15 and worked on almost non-stop. She was a small block, nitrous breathing monster (for the time at least) by the time I was 16 and driving. Great fun ride. Taught me alot of what I know about cars today, formed me into a hard working individual in order to continually feed it parts to make it faster. Couldn't have asked for a better first car experience.
-Alex-
1998 Neon R/T in 2002. My grandpa was the used car manager of the local Chrysler dealership and called me to check it out. Original owner had traded it in, it had 100,048 miles on it. I got it for $2500 after they did the timing belt and a full detail. It was bone stock and over the next couple years I did full bolt ons, suspension, wheels, etc on my high school minimum wage budget with a lot of used parts and trading lol. I had a lot of fun in it and it was decently quick. I actually sold it to a buddy after a few years, then bought it back like a month later. Eventually sold it to my cousin for his first car, who tore the shit out of it. http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h176/mcwilliams1/4545d41e.jpg
Green Bastard
First car I had to drive (parents owned it, I just drove and maintained it) was a 91 Ford Ranger, same amenities as the one Crossle had. The first vehicles I owned were (I don't remember which was first) a 1988 GMC s-15 Jimmy. 2.8 5 speed 4x4, never got to drive it because the starter was out and I sold it for $100, the truck was free. The other was a 81 VW rabbit. Clutch was out, never drove it either. I had planned on fixing this one, but it was sitting in a friends driveway and he got rid of it without asking me, only paid $100 for it though. acklac7
1988 Audi Quattro 5spd Turbo. Fucking brilliant design: Clutch, brakes and power steering were all run off a central hydraulic system. When the fluid ran low (which it always did) you lost the ability to stop, shift and steer :dumb:. Other then that the I5 was pretty reliable. Dr. Apex
1984 Cutlass Supreme Brougham, dad bought it for $100 with a bunk transmission, dead suspension, and engine that had compression on only about 4-5 cylinders. He had a mechanic friend swap in an entire same year cadillac suspension and trans and rebuilt the engine for $700. It was a rust bucket, it was terribly slow, but damn if it wasn't a comfy cruiser that had plenty of room for friends. Had it taken away 2 weeks in for doing 1 wheel peels over in front of JC Penny outlet. Lost it again weeks later for getting a ticket in Reynoldsburg for doing toilet paper streamers from the car. BloodRed
1980 Chevette 4 door. Other than being dark gray, I don't remember much about it. Drove it for about 4 months before I put it into a utility pole at about 50 mph. Other than for a broken nose and hip, and a lot of bumps and bruises, it saved my life. Richard Cranium
1980 Pontiac Sunbird. Carburated 4 cylinder with a 4 speed manual. Got my first speeding ticket in that car the following year (100 in a 55). Other than getting pissed at me my dads first call was to our mechanic to ask if the car could really go that fast. Mr. Jones
85 Renault Fuego 2.2 5MT. (not mine but same color and wheels etc) http://i.imgur.com/zycIDDa.jpg $300 and some work later it was a DD that got me around for years. Those who have known me long enough to remember this car will remember it's on/off nature and ability to withstand incredible abuse. RIP FAYGO. spankis
First car was a 1996 Ford Contour "sport". I bought it for $2800 when I was 16, and parents helped me with $1000 of it. It was a 4 cylinder 5 speed with power locks, power sunroof, but annoyingly crank windows. I had subs and sweet neon shit in it like every other kid in highschool, and the obligatory stainless muffler. http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x33/spankis/Contour.jpg It was actually a nice first car, very clean. Eventually put the wheels pictured on it.
2highpsi
Silver 1987 Camaro Berlinetta Saved up for two years cutting grass. She was a rag when I bought it, but after fixing it up it looked just like this: http://www.gmphotostore.com/images/53219380_pr.jpg No digital photos of that actual car though When I replaced ole Silver, I got my first digital camera that took 3.5" floppy LOL That was when I picked up big red: http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii37/jordancampbell2008/rollinem_zpsb2610c2d.jpg
