zeitgeist57
A friend is clearing out her father's apt after he died. I am going to use Cleetus to help move furniture, but for the life of me I don't know what to do with dirty mattresses aside from SWACO. Is there any place (outside of a dumpster) that takes mattresses?
STEVE-O
I think you can just call bulk pick up or cut it up into pieces
Cordell
Call a couple mattress stores and ask them, they have to do something with them after hauling them away for free.
SRTurbo04
If your feeling like donating, maybe some place would take it? Homeless shelter, goodwill? Idk worth a shot.
Dharris89
Call bulk pick up and they will take it. Or ask the local high school kids where they go. I'm sure they could always use an extra mattress.
mrs.cos
Yep. There isnt much to do with them other than trash. I honestly dont even know if Bulk Pickup will get them. it may need to be hauled down there

Turbs3000
At work we haul them away for shopping centers and what not and we take them straight to the dump. Residential, i'd bulk haul it or pay a mattress store.
downingracing
Called trash for bulk pickup. Needed to be wrapped in plastic. I used a roll of shrink wrap / cellophane to wrap the mattress and put it at the curb. You could probably get a plastic cover from a mattress store to cover for bulk pickup. Shouldn't be too bad to get rid of...
