I'm just curious because I was in management from 2006ish/2018 and the costs barely increased $.25 during those times. Huge chains have a little bit more leverage than small indy's who aren't bending you over and giving it dry to everyone they deal with, employees included. And the prices have gone up a lot in the last few months. I'm sure competition is better in cbus, but where we are we've got minimal choices. Would we take tires in from a regular customer for free? Hell yeah, and gladly. We do it all the time, even if they got the tires elsewhere and hand us mount them as carry ins, we will just ask if they want them pitched. Some douche that I've never seen? Most of my time was spent with firestone,ntb,and tire discounters, and yes had nationally negotiated pricing Im sure.
