I'm home.I saw lightning in the distance when I got on 301N.... made it all the way home and it started sprinkling as I pulled into the garage. r1crusher Posted July 19, 2009 Report Share Posted July 19, 2009 I got totally poured on by the time I hit 254 last night...FACK! So this morning I'll be spend a couple hours cleaning the bike instead of riding it.As for the dyno, after looking at the sheet again the 2nd pull was 163.XX. Now all things considered, the guy at the top of the board with 165.XX had minor engine work done. I don't think that my number is AT ALL BAD given that fact.A couple ponies shy stock engine vs. a mildly worked engine....I went home with my head high.As a side note I'm trying to find my dyno sheet from DTM just to show as a comparison between dynos and the numbers. I have always said these are tools to prove out changes made and that's all. Doesn't matter what number you pull as long as it gets better, but I will eat my crow because I said I would crush that number...and FAILED in a major way.
