you should definitely check out Mohican and Lake Hope, imho two of the smoothest trails in the state. you might want to look over these sites for trail conditions, locations, and race information.

Nice bike, late to the party but I got back into mtb's this year and I'm having a good time. Bought a nice 29'er last fall and have been hitting the trails whenever I can. Finally got into decent shape so I'm always looking for someone to ride with.

I ride Alum since it's on my way to work a few times a week, and of course all the other Central Ohio places...Mohican, Dillon, the outlaw trails in Heath, Chestnut Ridge and AEP and have a few single-track loops here at my place (good for killing yourself).

Hit me up if any of those are in your future. I'm not fast, but I'm stupid and that makes up for it.

I have a stupid ass schedule and get a weekend off every other month.

I feel your pain, worked weekends for 10 years. I'm on nights now so I have my days free, so if you wanna hit the trails through the week sometime that's cool...usually have 'em to yourself which is nice, no dodging dogs and joggers.

I made it up to mohican on saturday and the trails were dry and fast. There were about 15-20 riders gearing up at the trailhead at 9am.

I will probably be riding next weekend before the ombc race on the 22nd. If you don't mind riding with dudes geared out in spandex, you are more than welcome joining us. We usually meet up before noon and do 15-25 miles depending on trail condition. post ride involves burgers and beers at beanos in loudonville

framelooks different then my 2011. I dont think its a bad price if its in good shape.

Its a 26 so maybe thats why? Its a 2011 with disc breaks. The guy bought it in April this year and said he rode it around 10 times. Its basically new. Time to learn how to ride a bike again then down the road to Alum.
