Just once, OR needs to not be OR. Just answer his question. Don't speculate, don't ask questions. Don't play internet lawyer. TIA5 points

Well @redkow97 is a Cleveland area lawyer, not in that specific line of practice but I bet he could direct you to the appropriate one.4 points

Per suggestion from @what, I've added an emergency contact section to profiles. Completely optional. Only viewable by mods/admins. I don't think I have to explain why this could be extremely useful. Consists of contact name, contact number, and additional info. For instance, I put Carie, her mobile number, and that I'm diabetic. In the event of an emergency, anyone can reach out to a mod/admin with information who can then reach out to the emergency contact. Right now this can be done via thread, PM, whatever. I will soon have another option ready. You can edit yours by visiting your profile and clicking the edit button. You may also see a banner at the top of each page reminding you to complete your profile. Clicking through that should work as well.2 points

For those that didn't hear yet, I spent the last week in the Trauma center due to a product defect. Don't want to or need to go into too much detail here. Can anyone recommend a good lawyer for such matters in the Cleveland area? Never having been through such an ordeal before my 1st reaction was to call one of the law offices I hear advertising on TV. Now I'm thinking there may be better alternatives. Suggestions? Thanks.1 point

Street, of course, the only place I've had it. I've had my Ducati and CBR1000 on the track.1 point

When the dust settles, I'll be leaving the most glowing review of this dealer that's ever been written.1 point

So I talked with the warranty service person and the tech who are working on my bike. They requested a crate motor and Triumph responded saying they don't have one available. They now have to completely tear down the bottom end and potentially/likely the transmission to see where every issue is and individually request those parts. Nobody at the dealership is happy about that but it sounds like they are going to basically request a whole motor minus the case. I'm good with that. At the end of the day, I'm thrilled the issue will be taken care of, disappointed in how long it's taking, but overall I'm feeling good. At least that's what I keep telling myself! haha1 point

My wife loves going shopping with you. Says you have the greatest taste in women’s clothing. Who knew your side gig as a drag queen would be so useful!?1 point

I’d think they would obviously be putting in new valves, piston and rings. The things I would be concerned about on top of that are the rod and valve guides. Looks like there was some major contact with the piston and valves there. I’d be asking about all the shrapnel that went through your motor as well. My advice is just based off of damage I’ve done to single cylinder quad motors, so others may have better advice. Sorry to hear they’re changing things up on you. I hope they get the bike back to you before the end of the season and it’s as good as new when you get it.1 point

@what who was the coach we had at MidO when it was just two of us in his group? Eric Spector? Hes a motorcycle lawyer. Yes: http://www.riderswin.com/ Jim, I talked to Eric, he does work in Ohio (he lives in Michigan) and has two other lawyers in Ohio who could be a resource for you if you haven't found anyone yet. He's a cool dude, good rider (as if that matters here!).1 point

Good idea... maybe adding a relationship line to the emergency contact so if it's ever needed, at least the person making the phone call understands the relationship to the member.1 point

Jim, call a big firm first. Misny or Elk and Elk. If they won't take the case they'll give you a good referral.1 point

A really good friend who is the CFO for a huge local law firm (government law) strongly recommends Jay Kelley at Elk and Elk. Yea, it is one of those TV law firms, but he is a senior partner and my understanding is that he runs his own show inside Elk and Elk more or less. If he isn't the guy for you or he does not think you have a case he will tell you so I am told.1 point

I had a great day workin that corner for mad cash and getting a great spot to watch the races. Really tight battles all day and good clean racing. I'll have a look at my bike this week and figure out what it needs to lay the hurt on Novice Stock XR next race.1 point

Great ride today with Max & BRM. 175 mile back road adventure with a little WNF mud section at we transition thru the New Straitsville area in route to Zaleski-Vinton-McArthur for lunch and finishing at R56 near Ash Cave. Did not mean to leave you in the back Max's on that last bit of Locust Grove road but Mark was trying to show me a wheel in the tight stuff. And that shit was not about to happen. Great time, Thanks for coming out and riding.1 point

It is a bitter sweet day. Just over 600 miles from the house. It has been one hell of an adventure, but you can only eat so many hotel waffles before you're ready to go home.1 point
