  1. Hey CR members--- I've found CR through a friend of mine Versluis who has had nothing but good things to say about the quality of members/info you can find here within the forums. I'm born and raised here in Columbus and originally, I have been intrigued by motorcycles and the need for speed from such, but have been looking into selling my '03 Trailblazer here this spring to go back to a car I can put some work into. I own a 2004 Yamaha R1 that I have been waiting to take to the track this spring (still waiting on a few minor things before she's track ready)--- off the top of my head a few things I have done to it include JE high compression pistons, RC Injectors, Graves velocity stacks, modded butterfly's, PCIII, 6" stretch, full Brocks exhaust and cams, Annitori quickshifter, Niagara ported head, and a 30-shot dry-shot Nitrous Express setup plus some aesthetic appeal (carbon fiber bits and such) to name a few. I have had a Pontiac Firebird in the past which I was able to add some typical bolt-on's too to increase performance a little (or to the extent that you can change up the performance on a Firebird lol) before I sold it a few years back after totaling it on the side of the highway. I have had the trailblazer since, but between missing out on that awesome feeling of having your 4-wheel baby and being teased by the thrill off just 2 wheels I do eventually want to get back into it. The switch won't be easy, so hopefully getting to meet some of you online or in person and see the day to day improvements some of you might make to your vehicles will help me dial-in on which route I want to go down. I'll include some pictures here of my R1 as well for all to see--- I've put alot of time and effort into her and it's for sure been 100% worth it. http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/640x480q90/541/80rj.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/640x480q90/21/mtve.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/640x480q90/198/7zy0.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/640x480q90/850/lnuk.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/640x480q90/5/nzzm.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/640x480q90/827/6khm.jpg

  2. My name is Vince, I am from Grove City Ohio. I currently have two cars a Chevy Cobalt SS and a Lexus IS300. The Lexus is my DD so it is stock and the Cobalt is modified a little. Brian from DTM tuned it and it put down 425hp. Looking to do more to the car because it is still stock bottom end. I really love working on cars and talking about cars. Looking forward to meeting some of the people of this forum and learning about their rides. http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/640x480q90/18/ob68.jpg

  5. Thought I'd post some pics I took recently of my ride. Getting ready for the weather to clear up. I did ride it last weekend for about 20min. to the grand opening of Cycle Gear in North Olmsted. Then it snowed and into the van it went. Anyone in need of some maintenance or bike work check out DC Moto in North Ridgeville. I wrench out there with the owner David Cook. Check out our Facebook page. Clean shop and cheaper than going to dealers for gen. maintenance, electrical, tire changing/balancing and more. https://www.facebook.com/pages/DC-Motobike/130863657064469

  8. Yea and there still just $45.00. And for those that don't know there cash only for some reason? You should ask your Uncle if he gets in a kickback from the sales. And if he does we can all start buying them from him. Sent from my SGH-T399 using Tapatalk

  9. Why do we train soldiers for battle, but not let them carry on base? You're not gonna get far when every other trained soldier is carrying too.

  12. Okay i just called them and it is not a official Yamaha Demo Days the guy said they might have a Ranger and a couple other atvs out(sounds like just to do a loop in the parking lot) and he said if someone was really interested they might have a street bike or two out but he was unsure. So sounds like just a open house with some food and door prizes but (i repeat) NO OFFICIAL DEMO RIDES, I'm kinda disappointed.

  22. Actually did a lot of reviewing on this subject early winter, before it got Fing cold out and found this guy;http://www.remotestartexperts.com/ He was BY FAR the cheapest, came to your work. home, etc. and was able to quote my F250 diesel with bypass, and delay for under 250, again, at my work. Obviously didnt need a trunk release, but it was full setup replacing my 2 Ford Fobs and losing nothing with the new remotes. I will be getting it done this fall for sure, and regretted it all through Jan, Feb, March for sure. I think my quote was 239 installed. Dude talked to me for like 40 minutes because like many others have said, I have heard some great, and many terrible stories on aftermarket remote starters. he reassured me of their quality work, using a specific harness, no ghetto wiring, and that it was covered for I think 1-2 years free maintence and they offered other warranty packages. I think the webiste tells you about everything including price, but if your key has the transponder in it like most Ford's, add 50 for the bypass to the price, installed.
