  1. Nice deal! I like them very well on my VFR800.....
  2. Test ride in Dayton? I'm always up for a test ride....
  3. Checked out the Super Hawk thread and it turns out the guys charging system was bad. --- If wanna go to the LiFePO4, check out your charging system first.
  4. ^^^^ Its toast..... http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000WJX4BQ/ref=s9_simh_gw_p263_d2_i2?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-3&pf_rd_r=1A087GMMRN72THWNHYV7&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1688200422&pf_rd_i=507846
  5. Some stuff... --- Dont use a 24 volt battery! --- A healthy bike charging system should run around 14 volts, the 15.5 is listed as a max number. Got a voltmeter? test it. --- The lithium Iron Phosphate batterys are kinda different animal and a comparison to an AGM is like the apples/oranges thing. A load test wont get it. -- As vf1000ride said, the batterys are sensitive to the bikes charging and the overall condition of bikes charging needs to be good. Otherwise, not good. - Same again no trickle charger. -- These should be fully charged out the gate. -- LiFePO4 batteries dont like the cold for start up. -- Nice thing is disconnected they will keep 99% of the charge for over a year. Just pull it in the house for the winter. No charger. -- Going on 4 years on mine and over time, it has gone from 14v at the end of a ride and then about a month to drop to 13v to the same 14v at an end of a ride to about a week to 13v. So, its a quirky dude. Stay within its performance window and youll be fine. Dont wanna screw with that? Get the AGM and trickle charge in winters. Mine http://www.motydesign.com/
  6. What is their explanation for sticking a foot out before the turn?
  7. That's a damn shame. I wonder what the disagreement was between the track owner and KRAVE?
  8. Very cool! Gonna have to find a bike to come down and play....
  9. So do want.......makes the new monsters look fugly....
  10. Since your pointing out books to read - IMHO Nick Ienatch's book is the best in the biz http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1893618072/ref=s9_simh_bw_p14_d2_i2?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-3&pf_rd_r=1MBXT12JKKATYH17GVR4&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1916116602&pf_rd_i=283155 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1884313469/ref=s9_simh_bw_p14_d2_i1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-3&pf_rd_r=1MBXT12JKKATYH17GVR4&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1916116602&pf_rd_i=283155 Phreon, Metzler 880s are a cruiser tire, and not really a sporty tire. Probly not a good idea to go play sport riding on those donuts. Oversized? That will screw with handling big time to the negative. --4000 miles is like zero experience. Since you are a pilot, consider riding is like learning to fly, you need reps while riding with good technique so you can develop correct response by instinct when needed because its buried in your firmware in your brain. That takes lots of miles.
  11. Looks like my go to tire mount place - Tires Unlimited has gone under. Where do you go for off bike mounting/balance in Dayton area with fair pricing?
  12. Is that the kart track over in Camden? Who can play on the track too? What is required?
  13. For us IT and internet stupid, what does this do for us?
  14. Agreed - perfect first bike http://ohioriders.net/index.php?/topic/105924-1992-suzuki-g500/
  15. Hallelujah! Finally someone who will work for racing and racers. Double fuck DMG.....
  16. Could I meet with him? I have done product development to manufacturing for quite a while. Maybe I could help? Or even help fund. PM please.
  17. That's quite impressive. The innovation to use pellets is a major step forward. I hope they have a patent. Some well funded companies will steal that in a heartbeat.
  18. That's brilliant! and true.. lol!
  19. Obviously I'm biased but http://columbus.craigslist.org/mcy/4596887125.html http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/mcy/4595691706.html
