  1. Salt in the wound: No time because your working for free for these folks who continue to not pay you? It won't get better. Get out. (Posted that after getting up to P2 of the thread). Glad you got it worked out for now. Personally, I'd still be looking to get out (which is sounds like you are, based on P6).

  3. Yep, I've got the itch for a semi-cruiser, and have decided this is the one. I'm watching CL and Ebay, but thought I'd post here in case someone is thinking of moving one, or sees one outside of the easy CL and Ebay channels (i.e. in a shop or someones front yard). I'd really like to stay under $5k. Minimal mods preferred. Year and color don't matter. Thx
  4. Maybe I DO do "acts of kindness". I just don't need to post them here in order to get an "attaboy" for them. I have more admiration for those who give anonymously than those who get on the news and give an interview because of it.
  5. Gun restrictions, spending, divided country, etc. What happens that makes things start to get ugly?
  6. Get a Nest. http://tinyurl.com/a5onpwk
  7. I think its "interesting" that the shooting itself seems to have been brushed-over, and quickly. The anti-gun crusade came out immediately, and is still rolling at full throttle, but the situation at the school was immediate coverage, then disappeared quickly other than a blurb here and there (i.e. "the funerals started today" then on to the next story). Adam Lanza never existed?
  8. I have a hard time trusting anyone who has more than one sub-125cc bike... them little-bike fellers just ain't right. Plus, if you live in Lebanon, there's a good chance that I've flipped you off in the past.
  9. Riders? This is now a gun forum.... Welcome.
  10. Yeah, of course. But thats all over in the SuperSecret section. Along with most of Gen3's posts.
  11. "everytime i go to the grocery store, or super walmart and i see people paying with food stamps that have kids with them, i buy their groceries." You're already paying for their groceries. I'm amazed at how many people can't even say "Thank you" anymore. While in college, I worked at Kroger for four days as a bag boy. I quit because of the abuse of food stamps and the entitlement mentality of the people using them. I understand that choosing it as a lifestyle is far different than using it as a last resort. I actually applaud you for your ability to do what you do. I can't see the light through my veil of jadedness.
  12. I got a virus a couple of years ago, killed the machine. Used Carbonite, which is still active but I haven't touched the stuff stored there since I replaced the infected computer. If I get the computer fixed, and decide to "bring back" the Carbonite data, the infection is still likely in the encrypted Carbonite data. Can anyone recommend a good shop to "fix" the infected computer? I'll deal with Carbonite after the computer is cleared... Thx
  13. Baby steps, just like everything else. The liberals have definitely figured out how to win the game, and leeches outnumber the producers. America is finished. It was a good ride with a helluva fast decline.

  17. See my prior post. Baby steps and innocuous comments, then changes in the end to something that is completely opposite of what he implied/ said it was going to be. Dip your toes in the hottub, then a leg, then ease in. As opposed to doing a cannonball...

I had this on draught at Doubledays in Centerville on Sat night. VERRRRY similar to my beloved Vanilla Porter, just a hint less vanilla in this one. Touch of coffee, too. Good stuff. Also had their buffalo chicken rotini bake. Oh. My. Gosh. Huge menu. I hadn't been there in 12 years or more. Will be back soon. Great place.
  19. Okay, I've tried to stay out of this. He just said that "they're trying to frame this as an all out assault on liberty. On confiscation of guns" (or something to that effect). I just keep hearing "you won't pay any additional taxes", "you'll get to keep your insurance", and "this will be the most transparent administration in history. We'll post all bills online for 48 hours before they're voted on". And picturing Pelosi stating "we'll have to pass the bill so we can know whats in the bill". My stomach hurts, and not from laughing.
  20. 900 gun deaths in the last 30 days? Really?? 900?
  21. This poor kid. He's gonna buy some therapist a very nice car someday. Gotta admit, though, laughed my butt off. Sadly, Childrens Services has probably already been to their house... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HfTTm-rgFFI
