The guy looked like he was anticipating your lane change with too much eagerness and made a critical error in judgement, and close calls like that on a bike can be lethal. Right on the money! When my oldest got kicked out of school for standing up for his little brother, and got in a fight with 2 bullies, I got called into the principles office. I told Mr Hugh's that if my son came home and hadn't done what he did he would have to answer to me. And then I would be back in Mr. Hugh's face with a whole different attitude. The whole thing was dropped real quick. Of course this was 30 or so yrs back, and things have changed. Now the kid standing up to a bully gets in as much trouble (or more) than the offender. That right there is why bullying has grown to the point it's at now, imho. One good shot to the snotbox will usually take all the fight out of a bully. I also think that not only should the bully's parents be sued, but the school needs to be included in the suit. Sounds to me like they are not providing a 'safe and healthy environment' for the boy who got bit.

Most of the time a ribbed barrel is on a longer barrel, like a modified choke barrel. Mine is a 28" modified ribbed barrel.

Wayy wayy back before the internet when all we had were catalogs to order from, from places like Eddie Bauer, Gander Mt or Cabela's, Gander Mt was great, low priced and had the stuff. Now they build these brick and mortar stores and !hoila! it all goes to crap.

Can't say I know for sure either, only going by what info I could dig up before buying. It does sound pretty awesome though through my 4 spkrs. I'm holding out for a good set of surround speakers to see how that sounds.

Pioneer is rated right up there with Denon. I picked up a Pioneer VSX 1021K home theater receiver instead of the comparable Denon only because the feedback I found said the Pioneer reproduced music a bit better while the Denon did comparably better with the video reproduction. In the end I think both are about the same. I still haven't found the quality speakers I want so am still using my 4 floor speakers.....lol

I have shopped for quite a while trying to find a good surround system set of speakers and have found nothing for much less than $700 or $800 dollars. Not anything of decent quality. Surround systems with a receiver are $1k or more. My son had one of the higher priced Samsung surround systems. He had to send it back in to Samsung 4 times, all on warranty, before he finally gave up on Samsung. Each time they ended up just sending him another system, but it also took a couple months for the turnaround. 2 times they sent him the 'new and improved', or they upgraded him, but the boxes kept failing. We bought one a couple years back, can't remember the brand, but it was a $500 system, and a name brand, but the sound was punk and we ended up taking it back instead just keeping our old stereo receiver feeding 4 floor speakers from the TV. I'm sure someone will come on and say I'm fullofshit, but that's what I know of it. Good luck, hope your search goes better than mine.

I just re lubed the wifes V Star drive splines with the Honda Moly paste and that stuff is made to last. Don't get it on your hands or clothes......lol

Well said. Be alert, be aware of your surroundings and realize your handgun is no good unless you are ready to use it, so once drawn you must be ready to pull the trigger. I worked at a VA psychiatric hospital and was on the psyche emergency team. I worked admissions as well. Did this for about 10 years. You learn to watch without thinking about it and to sense things going amok. Never had to deal with firearms but these guys had many different weapons. But even after all that you have to keep honing your senses or you will relax too much. Then it can happen.

Supposedly the earth is entering a new cycle. The previous cycle was a good one with great growing weather. The new cycle is supposed to be bringing ins much more instability, far less precip and extremely greater extremes in temps and storm action. In other words shit is going to be getting worser and worser for many a year.

All these back and forth issues aside, I like carryin and nobody knowing I am. I like that advantage and will take all I can get when shtf.
