  1. Did anyone check on that 2007 SV1000S? If so I am very interested in what you found out about it?
  2. You might want to be patient, there are plenty of good used bikes showing up online.
  3. Nice find, I have the same problem where I live. Some county roads along the river's are twisty, but they are usually very sketchy surfaces. The roads that do have decent pavement, and have a few turns, they are stretched out, a few bends, a 6th gear redline long straight away, then another bend, it really sucks... A 2+ hour ride, sometimes 3+ hours, depending on the route, before I reach decent roads, well what I consider decent roads anyway...
  4. Damn, fell asleep and missed everything...
  5. Doc you have a pm...
  6. Jerry, I can meet up with you a little later, we can run a similar route...Let me know?
  7. Waiting to see how I feel in the A.M., working tonight 11:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m...

    Ride 3/14/12

I might be interested for Saturday...
  9. A younger guy did a u-turn right in front of me on SR 97 Sunday, I was at road speed +...no road rage, just a glare and a head shake, as I came to an abrupt rolling stop beside him...the killing glare was useless I guess, I had my tinted shield on... I saw it coming, good thing I was paying attention at the time...I assumed that was what he was going to do by his actions, and sure enough, he did! Assume the worst out there, this is when assumptions are usually correct, and justified... Have a safe & fun riding season!
  10. I wear these now, I know not the best, but they fit pretty well, and they offer better protection than normal shoes, plus I received 20% off when I purchased them, so the cost was right for me. http://www.ironpony.com/ironponydirect/product.asp/ImageName/VEGA11-12OCLOCK-SPORT-BOOT.jpg/Brand/VEGA/Class2/Footwear/Class3/Street%20Boots-Mens/Class1/STREET%20PRODUCTS
  11. I have a wide foot, usually between an 11 1/2 and a 12, if I remember correctly, they were pretty close to normal sizing, a bit narrow for me, but most shoes are.
  12. I rode that area today (83,541,60,520,514,39,97,62,179), seen plenty of bikes, but they were all small groups, 5 at the most I think...
  13. Same here, a great ride, probably around 300 miles, great weather, and as Tpoppa stated, the roads were surprisingly clean for the most part. By the time I seen this post, I did not have time to make the meeting point, or I would have made the trip.
  14. Not sure what you mean by looking silly...looking protected is not looking silly!!! I tried a pair of these on at IP, a very stiff, and cumbersome feel while walking in them...The BOA system was great though, I really considered them at the time, the odd feel, and the price for what you get, turned me away, I think they were $156.99 + tax, or something like that at the time... If you are looking for something with a bit more protection than typical shoes, at $70, you might want to check them out...

    Hellooo

    Welcome to the site!
  16. I am always looking, I would like another V2, not sure if it will be another Buell or not.
  17. What model of Buell did they have for sale, is it a good deal?
  18. Funny this popped up, a bag of Fritos got me last night at work...tried to shake them loose with no success, I ended up with strawberry fruit snacks that fell while shaking...Fritos 70 cents, fruit snacks 85 cents... a total win, plus my fat ass really does not need Fritos...
  19. Either tire would have probably worked well for you, I think you made the right choice with the PR2's though.
  20. I have Conti Motions on the S3 now, they will probably be switched to the PR2's or 3's when they go away. I like the Conti Motions, but the PR2's seem to be a better all around tire to me...
