  1. Yep, first race of the season is this Saturday in Circleville. Bring towels.
  2. So sore I can hardly walk after 2 full days on the XR this past weekend. Found some good pace yesterday, so practice sessions went well overall. Race 1 this Saturday
  3. Yeah I looked at pricing around the country last fall and what I had mine at was in line with what I saw, but those prices may not have been realistic. $4500 or so is about where I'm guessing it will land and I've adjusted my price this week in all the listings I have up. That's why I was asking.
  4. what year 675 are you looking at, and what is the dealer asking for it if you don't mind me asking?
  5. Triumph did a good job spicing up the speed triple with the 2016+ version, but it's still not really in line with the current crop of super nakeds. The 765 street triple RS claims 126 horsepower, which is only 20 or so down on the speed triple but it doesn't have all the excess weight. Granted, the speed is pushing 25-30 ft/lbs of torque higher than the street 765 but... 🤷‍♂️
  6. From what I've read, the speed triple's extra power doesn't make up for its extra weight vs the street triple. At least on the older models.
  7. Dyno'd the CRB and the Grom. Grom needs a new ECU to fix fueling issues and timing to run with the cam/piston/ported & decked head. CBR needs to be flashed to unlock the ECU, currently it's still factory restricted and peaking at 144whp with 71 ft lbs of torque. With a reflash it should gain 8-10 horsepower and 2 or 3 ft lbs of torque. Shop recommended running a thinner head gasket + tune to push close to 170whp (he has the exact same bike and dyno pulls to prove it's possible on the '08). Not sure I want to spend $500 on a flash + tune though. Maybe. We'll see. Need to get the Grom working right first and that's going to be close to that much. That said, someone buy my street triple. $4750 1 time ohio riders special. 😋
  8. Nuts to butts while holding the timer.
  9. Kevin got some pretty baller metrics from his AIM for you, Jacob Sector times, good/bad spots where you are gaining/losing time each lap, etc. I kind of want one now.
  10. they didn't start until noon.
  11. yeah that's about it. not a lot done really.
  12. Already talking to Jake about bringing the grom up. He wants to see if we can do anything to get it to run on pump gas. Don't think we can change timing or adjust the finbro ecu at all but it's worth at least looking at.
  13. Jacob is a rocketship on it, I know that. I will be going like +7 or 8 on the rear sprocket for race gearing too so... it may power wheelie in 1st and 2nd at that point.
  14. You can, the ++power is just compensating for my ++weight XD
  15. will it do hunner niney mal nair?
  16. Depends on my work schedule. Adkins is real close to you too.
  17. CBR dropped at Kerr's for valves and a few other basic maintenance needs. Clutch springs replaced in the Grom. XR kicked on with kick #5 after sitting all fall and winter. CBR and Grom going on the dyno soon.
  18. No big bike stuff for me until at least mid June I think. Dropping the CBR off at Kerr's for valves Wednesday and then minis/work is taking up most of May.
  19. It wasn't listing riders under OSHA, it just gives types of operators that require hearing protection an exemption from the law - at least that's how it was explained to me. This came from an organization that 'should' know what is going on. I wish I had gotten the exact bill they cited that got through as they were 100% certain it had been made law. I explained this attempt to legalize it and they said it was different from what was passed. 🤷‍♂️
