Typing out that sentence in a public place.

Whoever can guess what the blue text says on that front fender wins a prize. If you know from having seen the bike you are disqualified. Also, stop fighting with your internet words and start fighting with your chicken strips you fucks. It's summer.

Rain or shine I'll go out riding. My leathers have been swimming at the track, quite literally. Some big puddles to slide into when you crash in rain races The only thing that would keep me from riding would be torrential downpours, as my airbox is no longer an airbox and I'm not 100% sure of the water-resistance on the pod filter I have attached directly to the intake.

Well at least we know why Tonik has these pills
  6. Good luck with that fight, farmers can't even fix their own tractors because of copyright claims on the ECU/software and they've been fighting that for years. Seems most data software/hardware companies are going to a sub-based system these days. Ownership is a thing of the past I guess. 🤷‍♂️

Yeah that's what I meant. That was just my concussion talking.
  8. Hi will you trade for a 1991 geo metro and a plate of spaghetti?

3 weeks out from leaving boys and ladyboys. I need to get my grom running on pump gas. 😑
  10. Sounds like it was a good day. Next time.
  11. MT was what I wanted for a while but my next purchase will be a 2016+ R1. Not sure when though. Congrats on the new bike and congrats on the sale you two.
  12. sent it over @kbrok's soft, supple body.
  13. new chain and rear sprocket on the grom.
  14. Race weekend #2. The gRRommining.
  15. Yeah it's from a pretty reliable source this time round.
  16. heard rumors of a repave in the next year or 2
  17. Congrats on the Strom, they seem like a lot of fun.
  18. I have one, not sure about my schedule so far out though. If I'm there I'll have it with me.
  19. Enjoy, they are a great platform
  20. Maybe I just show up on bad days for I group, lol Not my problem anymore though.
  21. Overheating is bad. If you have always broken your engines in the low and slow method, there's nothing wrong with continuing to do so.
  22. I mean exactly what I said, half of the people in I group have no idea WTF they are doing. The lead novice group is faster than these people because they are willing to learn and have a tow behind a CR.
  23. A lot of it is insurance based as well. Manufacturers (their lawyers) would rather a person take it easy and get used to the bike before going out hammer down and getting killed because they never learned where the brakes were. They can then point to the manual and say "we said to break it in slow and easy, not our fault". Race engines are broken in on the dyno. The biggest thing is making sure the rings seal correctly, which can be accomplished either way. Just don't sit there pinging off the rev limiter with no load on the piston. Variable load is what you want.
  24. They were pretty strict about starting in novice last year if you've never been. You can try to sign up as I but understand they may stick you in Novice for the first session or 2. The only way around it was if you held a race license of some sort. Other helpful advice - Garages are $50 for the day and come with power. They can fit 4 or so bikes. They have water bottles, but they disappear not long after lunch, bring your own. Lunch is provided, the caesar salad is pretty good. The bathrooms suck (although I heard they were re-doing their facilities for this year?), poop before you get there if you can manage it. If the track is damp/cold, be REAL careful or just wait for things to get better. It is as slick as people say it is under less than ideal conditions. To be fair, the fast novice group is faster than 50% of I group...
