Aw, bummer......saw this and assumed you had a waste oil heater up for sale. I give my shop about 30-40 gallons of free waste oil every year, but would rather store it to heat my garage

You ride closer to that SV's potential than a lot of riders I know are on their own bikes, including myself. But I agree that most dont/cant ride to the capabilities of their machines. Wish trackdays at the sportscar courses were as cheap as cartway days.....we'd all be riding like pros

Me too. I remember when liter bikes first broke the 10k margin way back when. At least we're all getting old together

The hell you say, you dont have to cook shit this year....everyone else is fixin our viddles this year, although we may help out But, we wont make it out to this anyway, got family gigs the rest of the week. We will toast you all from here though

Prepper instincts paid off, props to you for doing so. All I got in my truck are some tie downs, spotlight, blanket, gloves, a bottle jack and a 4way lug wrench....but if I were heading into the wild to do some hunting, I'd definitely have packed some extra preparedness like you did. Glad you guys came outta there with just a flat and several wasted hours

I know older model Garmin units wont accept a trip route of more than 2 points. My old Nuvi 260W wont do it, but I haven't tried on my Nuvi 50LM. Their website may explain what models DO accept multipoint uploads

Not in Columbus, but Kyle Cotterman at Distinction Tattoo in Dayton does absolutely killer work. Awesome detail, photo realism, and portrait skills. http://www.distinctiontattoo.com/kylecotterman.html Honestly, a half sleeve wont be a single session piece. Likely take a few sittings, so Dayton area may not work for you. My guy here in Piqua is a close friend of over 20 years, and he is an outstanding artist, but he's also usually booked months out as well. My wife linked his site above, but there again it's quite a distance for multiple sessions. Also, a lot of artists will specialize in certain genre of tattoos, meaning you dont want an abstract or graffiti artist doing your photo realism piece, so choose wisely bro

Some killer cages, really dig the new cobra and that GTR

Hopefully they came out unscathed, seemed like an easy slide after the initial impact but a lot of bones can break in that split second. Looks to be a pre '08 ninja 250

I might try one for that price. Looks to be similar in concept to the cheap plastic versions that have been out for years now, but much better built. May consider one, thanx for the review

Ah yes, the pinky is usually always the weakest link for new players. The first few songs I ever learned were simple power chord progressions ( Scorpions, Metallica, etc ) and I used to fret the 5th and 7th notes with both my ring and pinky fingers to help strenthen the pinky, but I haven't used my ring finger on power chords in years, and mainly because I learned scales/modes. Honestly....scaling is where you'll develop the best dexterity and finger strength/control. It's a giant bore to run chromatics up and down the neck, but it's easy stuff to get your hands and brain working in unison, then make your way into scales and modes to get a variety of finger progressions. Hope this helps and makes sense. I've only had one true lesson, then I went right out and bought Dave Celantanos book of Monster Scales and Modes - which was the same price as a couple lessons - and it taught me most every soloing technique I know, as well as plenty of chords. Dont mean to soapbox here, just the way I was self taught and what worked for me. Of course when I was learning to play, there was no YouTube

Probably not a huge demand for it since most trackdayers I know tote a lot of spares, but surely would have someone in need on occasion. We could've used your services back in July when my wife lowsided at MidO and couldn't find anyone with a spare left rearset/peg for her 300

Damn, Zaza is good. Can tell he spent a lot of time behind a guitar and likely studied music theory? He's definitely fluent. Good to hear you started playing. I did the majority of my learning the first few years of playing, but I did nothing but go to college, do homework, and jam hours a day. Made a big impact on my playing in a hurry. Keep at it Scott. Proper techniques take time and lots of practice, so dont let busy times make you quit trying. Just make time when you can and maybe schedule some time in the evenings. Just 30-45 minutes a day will help quite a bit. Obviously, repetition is key for muscle memory. Good luck man

Not sure exactly what all was on the list, but Neil told me that "Into the Pit" and "The Legacy" were a couple of the Testament tunes he listed I've no clue as to who set this up, most likely his management company booked this with his approval, but Alex isn't simply a metal guitarist. He's big into jazz/blues/rock/progressive/etc...and started an improv jazz group called the Alex Skolnick Trio. Testament was only one of many heavy metal projects he was part of, but definitely didn't define him or his tastes

Bike looks well equipped and maintained for the price. Sorry to hear you're giving up riding, but good luck in your new endeavors and GLWS

PM me a price on PitBull front stem stands with pins for an '08 ZX14 and '13 ninja 300 please...

The ONLY way to top last night were if my band had played the show and Skolnick hopped on stage with me to pull some old Testament covers. Of the 3 bands that played, all were given short lists of songs earlier in the week that Alex would do with them....Engine of Chaos managed to learn War Pigs and was the only band to put forth effort to learn any of the covers Alex listed. If my band was on the roster, I'd have called in sick a few days to learn ALL the songs he wanted to cover!

That's cool stuff Joe. Vai and Satriani are definitely 2 artists I want to meet eventually. Always wanted an Ibanez Jem ( I'm an Ibanez fanboy ), just never had funds for the good versions and wont waste money on the cheaper copies. I've met John Petrucci many years ago down at Bogarts before Dream Theatre took their first hiatus. Darrel Abbott ( Dimebag Darrell ) was one of the first pro players I ever met, my first concert in fact was Pantera at the end of the Cowboys From Hell tour in '92. Hard to take him seriously though since all he wanted to do was party at the time, so I didn't get much insight on his talents aside from drinking large amounts of his famous Black Toothed Grins.

I bought a trial run 6pk of this stuff, and it's a decent beer if it isn't compared to other Guiness counterparts. I'm no connoisseur of brew, but I thought it wasn't too bad. I'm a bigger fan of Belgian wheat brews, never dug the knife and forkiness of stouts. But Sam is right, it's nothing special. This is purely a ploy by Guiness to reel in drinkers ( like me ) who dont typically buy their shit
