  1. @whaler below are 2 of the 3 companies I have personally used. The 3rd had nothing for a ninja 250. I would use any of them again. When I ordered these I always used my credit card through PayPal with the thought that if I had an issue I would let them fight it out. The only problems I had were small blemishes in the paint. Tiny run or so in clear coat, something of that nature. For the most part though the bikes looked like new when I was finished. If you want pics let me know. As far as fit goes my personal opinion is it is the installer. A couple years ago I picked up a 2008 600rr that a kid had tried to install some of these eBay specials on and he said they sucked. I took it home and in 30 minutes it looked great. Unfortunately he was missing all the left side fairings, hence my first China purchase. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Gloss-Black-Complete-Injection-Fairing-for-2008-2012-Kawasaki-Ninja-250R-EX250-/231695606014 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Fairing-Fit-250R-EX250-2008-2012-Injection-Molding-Plastics-Set-08-09-c12-/231693993518?fits=Model%3ANinja+250&vxp=mtr&hash=item35f209c62e
  2. I've ordered 3 sets of Honda fairings on eBay that all came from China. They all looked great and fit well. None were perfect but I did not expect perfection for $350-$375.
  3. Never. My daughter took a 150 mile 3 hr ride with me last summer on the rr and handled it like a champ. We are going to trailer to Deals then ride the area, so no need for the sport tourer just yet. Plan is to take some longer rides with her in spring before we head down and see just how long we can ride before we can't handle it anymore.
  4. I'll still be more of a street guy. I enjoy my long days in the saddle and my oldest daughter is taking a real liking to riding with me. So much so that for her birthday I surprised her with a promise to take her to Deals Gap this summer and a riding jacket. She called it the best gift ever.
  5. 1 of them does Doc. I remember reading it on one of the websites last year as I was looking for gear and prepping myself for a future track day. I just can't remember which 1 it was and it was only for novice of course.
  6. Nice work Jacob. Is that thing going to even see the street, or are you only hitting the track next year?
  7. Doc thanks for sharing. This was great to watch and forget about the 18-24 inches of snow I have outside my door. It was great to see a post from you. I thought maybe you had an intervention or something after confessing your addiction to the forum.
  8. My plan is to take advantage of 2 free sessions once at PIRC as you mentioned and I picked up a mid-Ohio cert for the discounted rate . I figure this way I'll get to experience 2 tracks and not spend much cash Thanks for being kind Tim. I know that day I rode with you and jschaf that had you 2 been leading I would have been farther behind for sure. Thanks to to all of the others for the encouragement as well.
  9. If that is your Sunday drive cornering I'd hate to be racing you on Saturday. I've never been on the track but I plan to give it a go once or twice this summer. I know there will be no photos of me cornering like you were in any of those I looked at. Makes me realize how much I have to learn at the ripe age of 40.
  10. I'll definitely let you know when I plan to go Jacob. That's good news on the certificates. Thanks
  11. I did not get a barcode. I thought maybe it was because I got mine for the $112.50.
  12. Bought 1 to ensure I give this track thing a go this coming summer.
  13. Glad your bike was found. Too many times missing bikes go unfound. I hope you get the KTM back as well.
  14. I would not know. I get off at Vrooman and it was cold waiting at the traffic light to cross the river.
  15. I rode to work today as well. I can tell it's been awhile since I've been on the bike. I definitely was more aggressive on my way in. Plan to slide out a little early and hit some mediocre twisties on the way home. Trying to make the best I can out of what I have to work with. Definitely jealous of you guys that are riding SEO. Enjoy your ride. Be safe.

    Thanks Vets

Thank you very much to all our veterans. I truly appreciate my freedom and the sacrifice you made for it.
  17. Says the guy looking into purchasing track bodywork
  18. Rode to work today. My guess is it will be the last time for this year.
  19. Put on a new chain and sprockets. First time I did a rivet style master link. Went pretty well. I flared it to DID specs so I'm hoping I have no issues. I also flushed the front brake fluid. They felt spongey. I hope the flush cures it. Hopefully I can at least get out for a short ride tomorrow to test everything out.
  20. I ran them for a couple years. My problem was I would only get 4000 miles out of a rear. With the amount of miles I put on in a year it seemed as though I was always putting new tires on. I felt they handled well especially for the price.
  21. Pretty much. But I need it to be near 50 in the morning at my house before I plan to venture out. I don't own any heated gear.
  22. Maybe, see how the weather shapes up.
  23. If I would have spotted this earlier I would have tried to make it happen. No way to get there in time now. Maybe next time. Have fun. Enjoy the new bike.
  24. My .02 on 555. It was great once past the 2 one lane traffic lights out of Zanesville to 37. Sure there are some blind corners and some gravel but overall I thought it was a great road you just have to know what you're up against. 37 to Chesterhill pretty much sucks as far as I'm concerned. It is rough. I wish I would have ran 37 over to 377. I will for sure next time unless it's been paved. On a positive note they were repaving south of Chesterhill up until 676.
