  1. I did not get a barcode. I thought maybe it was because I got mine for the $112.50.
  2. Bought 1 to ensure I give this track thing a go this coming summer.
  3. Glad your bike was found. Too many times missing bikes go unfound. I hope you get the KTM back as well.
  4. I would not know. I get off at Vrooman and it was cold waiting at the traffic light to cross the river.
  5. I rode to work today as well. I can tell it's been awhile since I've been on the bike. I definitely was more aggressive on my way in. Plan to slide out a little early and hit some mediocre twisties on the way home. Trying to make the best I can out of what I have to work with. Definitely jealous of you guys that are riding SEO. Enjoy your ride. Be safe.

    Thanks Vets

Thank you very much to all our veterans. I truly appreciate my freedom and the sacrifice you made for it.
  7. Says the guy looking into purchasing track bodywork
  8. Rode to work today. My guess is it will be the last time for this year.
  9. Put on a new chain and sprockets. First time I did a rivet style master link. Went pretty well. I flared it to DID specs so I'm hoping I have no issues. I also flushed the front brake fluid. They felt spongey. I hope the flush cures it. Hopefully I can at least get out for a short ride tomorrow to test everything out.
  10. I ran them for a couple years. My problem was I would only get 4000 miles out of a rear. With the amount of miles I put on in a year it seemed as though I was always putting new tires on. I felt they handled well especially for the price.
  11. Pretty much. But I need it to be near 50 in the morning at my house before I plan to venture out. I don't own any heated gear.
  12. Maybe, see how the weather shapes up.
  13. If I would have spotted this earlier I would have tried to make it happen. No way to get there in time now. Maybe next time. Have fun. Enjoy the new bike.
  14. My .02 on 555. It was great once past the 2 one lane traffic lights out of Zanesville to 37. Sure there are some blind corners and some gravel but overall I thought it was a great road you just have to know what you're up against. 37 to Chesterhill pretty much sucks as far as I'm concerned. It is rough. I wish I would have ran 37 over to 377. I will for sure next time unless it's been paved. On a positive note they were repaving south of Chesterhill up until 676.
  15. I'm taking a personal tomorrow to get out and ride while we still have some good weather. All this talk about 555 has peaked my interest and i have included it in my route. 555 was one of the first twisties I rode when I got back into motorcycling. I remember I learned a lot that day. It will be interesting to revisit.

You're going to the gap with a bunch of guys here correct? I'm sure you will be riding plenty of twisties. I've only been to the gap twice, but each time I feel I've come back a better rider. Ride your own ride and get comfortable. My guess is you will come back a better rider. You'll come back and ride roads you used to think were a challenge and be bored.

Man CB sorry to hear about your low side. Glad you are okay and that your gear did its job.

I kicked a Boy Scout troop out just so I could get the photo. I kind of felt bad about doing it so I did ask politely.

255 had signs posted at 800 and 7 with nothing on them yet. It looks like they're are prepping to pave a lot of patching. I saw the same signs on 556. On 556 the signs said the road will be closed 9-26 until a date in October I did not catch(sorry I was going to miss my window to pass a truck). 536 has about 75% new pavement complete. It is strange there are like 3 one lane sections with traffic lights that need some heavy work. I would have thought they would have fixed these areas and then paved everything all at once. Pavement is grooved for a small distance off of 7. In general the pavement gets better and better the closer you get to 78.

I rode 255 earlier this summer. It was not terrible then, but a repave would be nice.
