  1. You can buy a tailored leather/textile suit, but it will be cheaper to park the motorcycle and just run behind us for a season.
  2. Prove who wrong? It is a resource issue. That isn't media. That came straight from the White House. I watched the news briefing where they said so.
  3. Exactly. It is a lack of resources situation. Some people can't see past their own nose.
  4. Embarrass you guys? My bike has been spotless for almost 3 years. Lol
  5. How many monies for this helmet in medium?
  6. I took the new build out today. Light, quick, absorbs all the bumps. 18 miles on a paved path that runs along the river. I am not as out of shape as I thought, but I am nowhere near being in acceptable condition. Wow..
  7. Maybe a spoke up charge, too. I had not considered, but I don't see how it would be any different. The rim is cast, just like a regular solid aluminum wheel. Still a decent price at $35.
  8. Sills is $20? I was quoted more than that when I took my GS wheel to them.. and that is where I bought the bike. I believe she quoted me $35.
  9. That's average pace for a hybrid. Not that it matters in reality, but most bike&hike paths have a 15mph maximum speed limit. You were pushing your luck, pal.
  10. You don't have to blow up on him, but if he is an adult, he should expect an adult reaponse. If he is an adult, he will accept whatever answer you give him. It is YOUR driveway.
  11. I don't know. Watching you shell all that plastic really turned me off. The Goldwing may be a superior 2-up machine, but I will settle for 2nd best to avoid tearing into Fort Knox to change an air filter. Honestly, fresh tires would make a huge difference on the Whale. It is within 600 miles of 80k. I think the tires have about 8500 on them. I remember you saying they go quickly once they get this far. I already notice increased effort to dip into corners. She isn't as lightfooted as last season. That said, I am still perfectly content to 2-up tour on the Voyager. That bike isn't perfect, but it is pretty damn good for it's intended purpose. And it is a beautiful bike. I get more compliments on the Voyager than I have any other previous bike. @NinjaDoc, the R1200 boxer is probably the best engine I have had in a bike. It is very similar to the 1100 oil-cooled twin the Multi had hanging from its loins. The Multi was my favorite bike, but the GS has bumped it down a peg. I love the engine in that bike. The refinement is finer than a Ducati. The build quality of the bike is unmatched. I knew the bike would be a BMW. I expected quality to be present, but I am legit blown away by its ability to haul fucking ass and not feel like it. It impresses me every time I ride it. I am unsure if I will have another BMW because of brand loyalty, or because I won't be worth a fuck without the tech kit that comes on the damn things.
  12. 250 miles on the Voyager. I believe the BMW has spoiled me. That Kaw rides like a jackhammer if the road isn't perfectly paved. Fucking ruined me, you dirty Krauts.
  13. Good price. Good thing I am full up on bikes.
  14. The engine is amazing. The shift-assist is amazing. The suspension is amazing. The brakes are amazing. The fuel range is amazing. The ergos are amazing. It has nothing that isn't brilliant.. except the wheels.
  15. Nice attitide. Good for you and for us. Welcome.
  16. Freshly serviced with new Ducati OEM timing belts. This machine is ready to ride.
  17. Yes. It is YOUR driveway. You owe him zero explanation. You owe him zero BBQ invites. You owe him zero beers. What you DO owe him is a firm position of your expectations. Expecting him to accommodate you without telling him what those expectations are is unfair. Just know that all you do owe him is a firm "No. You may not use my driveway." You do not owe him what, who, how, why or when. You only owe him an answer. I learned a few things in the past few years. One of them is "'No.' is a complete sentence."
