Commercial Truck Tires...anyone have any leads?

Pics of the truck? Love a lifted pickup on Alcoa’s...:megusta: -
Just got a Harbor Freight email with part of the ad featuring one of their PREDATOR generators for pretty cheap. Anyone have experience with this thing? Sounds like a lot of performance, considering “tailgate”-style camping generators are total shit for $100-150... Also, is there any provision for these sorts of generators to be patched into a whole house electrical system? Instead of running 2-3 extension cords? Not familiar with this sort of a generator as emergency backup for 1-2 fridge/freezers, maybe a laptop computer and some lighting. http://widgets.harborfreight.com/wswidgets/common/displayCoupon.do?week=5217&campaign=b1&page=ny_feature.html&cust=10054011616&keycode=1021&single=true&main=true

I had a “who gives a fuck?” attitude in my mind when Trump was brash on the campaign trail (and still cringe at some of the things he said). However, I thought, If he gets in office, he’s going to get things done. “Drain the swamp”. Washington outsider. Someone with a bit of business sense. Magically, I expected, he would understand the gravity of the Office of the President, and tone down the rhetoric in order to get more done...be more presidential. After his first year, he was unsuccessful and spent waaaay too much time doing stupid travel bans, and couldn’t break apart ACA. This tax bill is his only “victory” and it’s unsure how it will help for the amount it’s going to cost us. His private sector business board collapsed, he has cycled through more cabinet members that Obama did in his entire term (and still hasn’t filled a number of open positions), and His worst enemy in all of this is himself. He needs to tone down the noise and focus on getting stuff done. Love that stock market, but the rest of it is silly/scary.

AGREED. Not happy with current administration's performance...yet as an American, will remain hopeful in our collective future. Obama was my President, even though I didn't vote for him. Trump's behavior has made this lifelong Republican miss the good ol' days...

I think the ability to empathize is still alive and well...it's that many of us advanced, intelligent humans know that resources available to us - like money, time, raw materials, etc - are best utilized where we deem them to be most efficient. I loathe people making blanket statements about our inability to empathize because we don't support causes important to others who don't put their own "skin in the game", or fail in their ability to clean up their own house before throwing stones at others.

That's why I built the carport. In UA, a carport cost me under $3k to build myself (while still within code). A detached garage would've been $40k through a contractor. 80% of the precip/sun stays off these cars? It's an economical win to keep them reasonably preserved despite being outdoors. There ends up being some drifted snow on the Caddy and Lincoln, but I feel much better not having the constant precipitation on them for sure.

I don't remember a winter being this cold in the last few years...apparently our best efforts to contribute to global warming aren't paying off, gents! MORE TIRE FIRES IN 2018 I have 3 vehicles out in the cold: '78 Lincoln, '82 F-100, and '07 CTS-V (Lincoln and V are under a carport). Aside from the coolant/water being 50/50, should I do anything else to provide some engine/cooling/charging systems protection if they are just sitting? The F-100 I may run today or next week, but the other two aren't going to be started until the weather warms up. I only have one battery charger/maintainer as well. Looking for suggestions I may be forgetting.

Did NOT see that coming... Love the GT3 RS’s.

Any benefit to my bottom line is “soured” (at best) by the thought that the National Debt is going up another $1.5 trillion. :thumbdown

Welcome to the site, Zack! Any pictures of your 1-series? What brings you to the area?

The trading platform is down. I don't think you're seeing a total loss so much as it's not reporting.

If there was a way to still use iMessage and stay connected to Apple's calendars and other conveniences, I'd leave Apple in a heartbeat. Our family is all Apple'd-Up and it's annoying that we maintain such a tether.

Because better video quality would show that it's not aliens. :gabe:

Be careful, Austin. If you cannot get enough evidence on your own to present a strong hypothesis, you'll come across as a nutjob.

Playing this silliness out....I'd certainly consider the evidence presented and make a decision in what to believe in going forward. It's 2017: there are still flat-Earthers and anti-vaccinators out there  I would never begrudge my Judeo-Christian upbringing, "Golden Rule" and "John 3:16" teachings to love thy neighbor and such. If this superior civilization truly seeded humanity then I would certainly assume they were back to show us more love and support, not to kill us off!

I grew up Cleveland and went to high school in Niskayuna, NY...right outside of Albany. I never realized as a kid how much Cleveland was gray all winter until I moved to Albany - cold cold cold as f**k but if it wasn't snowing, it was a pretty winter scene. I've been saying for years that - if you have to live up north as we choose to in being closer to family - I'd rather it be sunny and milder in Columbus rather than gray and crappy like it is for Chicago, MI, Cleveland, Buffalo, etc...around the Great Lakes. Again, in all fairness Columbus (and pretty much everything south of Wooster/Rt.30) is MUCH BETTER from a sun standpoint...NE Ohio throws off the average significantly.

Gentlemen, as someone who HATES winter, I want to remind you of the day I look forward to every winter season: the Winter Solstice. After today, we'll gain 2-3 minutes of sunlight back until the wonderful summertime is back upon us. If the season gets you down, try to remember as I do that it's at least going to get a little brighter every day as the northern hemisphere warms up. You're welcome!

Damn....it's a super-subtle touch that does make a difference. Did he do the rear-view mirrors?

That man is enthusiastic... ...and that car tears ass. I LOVE IT.

There's a lot of hypotheticals in that series of statements. You're ALWAYS going to have at least two main factions: those that believe in a new-found truth, and those who choose not to. Faith is essentially belief in something etherial while lacking physical proof/evidence. If these supreme beings brought some ancient tool or key that showed some answer - like unlocking secrets of the pyramids or show how Stonehenge properly aligns with the stars - then I'd be inclined to believe them.

With all due, you could've vacuumed the carpet and cleaned the exterior a little better for your "Fpr Sale" photos. I'm looking at dingy side moldings and I can't tell if it's scratched up or just dirty/dusty...
