32 bit = 4GB worth of memory addresses. If you have a swapfile configured, it will eat the top out of this number as it counts as normal ram to the processor. 64 bit = 100 jiggabytes worth of memory addresses, which results in maximum WIN.

I blame myspace. I don't have kids so wtf do I know, but the problem that I see is parents just don't have time to snoop around in their kids lives 24/7 anymore. In the good old days, kids still wanted to drink, have sex, do drugs, etc but their parents found out about it before it became a problem and issued a righteous punishment. These days, kids are living completely separate lives from their parents, who probably have to both work (if they aren't divorced, in which case they SURELY have to both work). Kids go places and do things on their own much more, thanks to cell phones and cars and myspaces and intertubes and all this new fangled shit that just makes it impossible for parents to invade their kids privacy to keep them out of trouble. Sure, its the parents fault for not keeping up, and letting their kids get into this crap in the first place, but what do you all propose can be done to get these things under control? Its real easy to blame the parents, but no one is doing anything to help a clearly desperate situation besides saying "oh MY kids won't get into that"...

A good beginner bike: 600cc or less I-4, 1000cc or less v-twin, both carb'd only. Every mfr makes these to this day, and has a past lineup of good bikes. Another good feature of a beginner bike, scratches. That way, you wont feel as bad when you drop it. How much should one of these be coughing up during WOT? I was playing with one the other day on my bike and it was doing ok, I am just wondering if it was stock or not. It let out a pretty thick trail of nice blackish haze when it kicked down, like it was chugging a LOT of gas, or had no cats, or something. The exhaust was pretty quiet. The plate was '2 FLY SKY' I think, if anyone knows who it might be. Those are nice looking cars, I would be real impressed if they ran that well stock. The difference *could* be in the new heater using line-neutral versus line-line to run the heater elements. Its not likely, but without knowing the specs on power draw it's something to consider. It makes sense that it would draw considerably more current either way, since it has to do the heating all at once instead of over time. If your old heater was rated to do a full heatup in 45 mins, and you could drain it in 15, then it had a 3 to 1 buffer with the heat built up in the tank. There is one thing that kills my battery faster than talking on it, with every phone i've ever owned: Hanging out in an enclosed or remote area where there is negligible or no signal. Even though it says 'power save mode on' after a while, this will kill my phone in a heartbeat. The lower the signal bars are, the faster the battery dies. What I want to know is if it's true that they a) don't require income docs for less than 20% and b) don't require PMI for less than 20%. I don't know all that much about where the unions operate but I have been to the Marysville Honda plant and to a similar Toyota plant, and they were both UAW-free. In checking news articles it would seem that the unions only have support at plants in Canada. Anyhow, cars are cheaper and/or higher quality without unions because employees are held INDIVIDUALLY accountable for their performance and for their financial security. When you buy a GM car, just as much money goes to the employee who built the car, as to a retired employee who is drawing benefits from the company (this statistic is paraphrased and may not be completely accurate). Now, benefits are good and no way do I think that GM should neglect or abandon it's workers, but there needs to be a line between that and breaking the bank on benefits for retirees, family members, etc. because it is literally killing the native US automakers.

GM should just outsource all the parts and assembly to Honda and Toyota, two *successful*, *union-free* automakers in the US. While it's easy in times like these, to say that the unions are completely to blame and if they didn't exist cars would be as cheap as toasters and the roads would all be paved with gold... The reality is that having large manufacturing (the kind that towns or cities are built around) without a union is just as bad has having it with a union in full control. Unions had a well-deserved place during the industrial era of the US, they protected worker's rights when the corporations did exert too much control over the labor market. Now, we get to see the flip-side of that, unions that overreach their power in the name of protecting workers, to the detriment of the company and the economy as a whole. What we need, IMO, is not to dissolve the unions, but to reduce their power to strike, fix wages, etc so that large companies can compete, but not have full run to screw over workers.

This should be obvious to anyone familiar with a calculator. If you plan on paying it off, you need to put principal down too: $2236 a month for 15 years, which (at first) is 1325 in interest and 911 in principal. $1588 a month for 30 years, which (at first) is 1325 in interest and 263 in principal.
