  1. Headlights look to have been sourced from a '90s Olds Cutlass.
  2. A 4-door Avanti, in Upper Arlington. I've seen quite a few of the original Studebaker cars and the repro coupes over the years, but not a 4-door before.
  3. I sold off a mostly stripped Windstar to Woody's a few months ago. They yanked it up onto a rollback in about five minutes.
  4. Did it for fifteen years. Not worth the cost to the rest of my life.
  5. Everybody always forgets the most important step in painting model cars: you HAVE to completely wash off the molding release agents. I've always used Dawn without Aloe. Clean it dry it clean it again.
  6. Stupid stupid photobucket...better now?
  7. Second times the charm, maybe.... i have several plastic kits for sale, $10 each, first come first serve. They have been opened, but not built or painted. Decals may not be good, kits are many years old after all. PM for phone number.http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y181/smdalton/Mobile%20Uploads/1455407148.jpg AMT 1968 Shelby GT-500 AMT 1965 Chevelle Station Wagon AMT 1958 Edsel Pacer Revell 1981 Chevy Citation (lowrider, stock, or tuner versions) http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y181/smdalton/Mobile%20Uploads/1455407138.jpg Revell Promodeler 1969 Dodge Charger R/T Lindberg Richard Petty's 1964 Plymouth Belvedere AMT 1971 Dodge Charger AMT Dodge Demon 340
  8. I have a single spam can of 440 rounds of Russian light ball 7.62mmx54r for sale. Factory 188, canned in 1986. Asking $150, if I can find where I hid my openers I'll include one too. This stuff is quite accurate for surplus, it's obviously not match, but my Mosins have all done well with it. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y181/smdalton/20160209_162903_1.jpg
  9. What are scrap aluminum rims bringing lately? I've got a bunch of scrap 15s and 16s to dispose of.
  10. If you haven't gotten anything yet, the Pick n Pull has a 70s Jag with a 6. Everything was there on last Wednesday.
  11. Forget Columbus...drive to Springfield and go to Schulers.
  12. Huh...I always thought "squid" came from what they look like after high-siding at 150....enough extra elbows and knees to look like they have tentacles.
  13. I recall something VERY similar in styling being sold as a revival of the Allard name.
  14. First things first: check that it is actually connected. Don't just look, test for continuity across the connections. Betcha there is a bad connection somewhere.
  15. They have new lights now. They aren't much brighter, but the color range on the new ones makes photographs come out MUCH better.
  16. Am I the only one who thought he deserved it for pulling out without looking?
  17. I'm still waiting for a Porsche motor swap into anything not a VW or buggy. Or a Cummins-powered Intrepid.
  18. Mom had a problem with Jehovahs Witnesses bothering her. She also had a HUGE boar skull and some black spray paint. Five minutes of spray, a nice red pentagram on the top, and a prominent spot on the porch rail....
  19. I saw my old Avenger a few years ago. I did just about every suspension and brake upgrade possible, most of the few engine mods that COULD be done, and it was sharp. It turned 10 years after I sold it off at a "shop" on Cleveland Avenue, with a bunch of non-matching chrome shit on it, and some of the nastiest looking 18s ever made, sporting a stinkbug stance and bubbly tint.
  20. What Wagner said. Sears, as a corporation, may not even make it through Christmas THIS year, let alone another year after that. John Hinderer is not likely to be closing anytime in the next couple decades, unless Honda itself goes under somehow.
  21. Know if or when the timing belt has been done?
  22. My brother blasts them with his air cannon. A 16oz can with a muzzle velocity of approximately 800 feet per second will DEFINITELY make a hard drive irrecoverable. Tannerite is fun too.
  23. Cody, you are on the southwest side of Lancaster, right? I'd say 158 to 70, and know your passing zones on 158.
