  1. Other than being louder, that was nothing more than replay of the three weeks before I actually got my license. Up and down the driveway.....actually I think I was driving Mom's old van faster too. Car does like badass, but the vid is socketed firmly in FAIL.
  2. Hah, ask them just where the edge is....or what's on the other side!
  3. Ah, I wasn't aware that HK had a .22 on the way. Umarex huh? Google time.....ew, ick. If I ever go EBR, I'll avoid THEM.
  4. At 120mph. In heavy traffic. With the wife and kids panicking behind him. In a vehicle he wasn't familiar with. IN HEAVY TRAFFIC. The sad fact is we're all sitting here in front of a computer with a calm environment and plenty of time, we're NOT there in the "OH SHIT" moment with the adrenalin pumping. BTW, I disagree with calling this "Toyota's Firestone". A better simile would be "Toyota's EEC-IV" or "Toyota's cruise control brake disconnect switch."
  5. Ah, you do drive-through only, right? Cause I've yet to encounter a McDonalds WITHOUT multiple lard-asses in line at the counter.
  6. Something about the way the wing pillars meet the hatch surface is off, other than that...WOW!!!
  7. Meh.....I can see HKs point, even if I don't agree with it. But why aren't they going after the dozen or so manufacturers that are cranking out MP-5 Airsoft replicas? I will say that the one I fired was well-made and a nice shooter, but really ammo-sensitive.

  9. Everyone else can pack their gear and go home now, sol740 has won the "OMG thats just WRONG!" award for 2009. + rep for you, sir!
  10. Pretty much ANY felony is a dis-qualifier. If it's a MISDEMEANOR charge, it'll still probably rule you out, since the charge COULD result in a sentence of over one year.
  11. Blow-through with no intercooler. Way more turbo than the motor can spool too...
  12. I'm voting "no" because the people that want me to vote "yes" are filling my TV time with asinine and annoying commercials. I didn't care either way before those commercials started, but now.....backfired!
  13. For more old building stuff, hit http://www.forgottenoh.com (the site owner did a book called "Forgotten Columbus" that has the history of some neat Columbus landmarks) and also hit http://www.illicitohio.com , that site is owned by a friend of his. Lots of good urban exploration stuff at both sites, and a fair amount of history too.
  14. The problem is FINDING an early N600. Z600s are relatively common (well, common in terms of early 70s imports at any rate!), in fast there are a couple that I know of around Columbus for sale (for WAY too much, or I'd have one). A CVCC might be easier to find, even though you'd be giving up some performance with the larger body.
  15. I prefer my version of the basic prescription: 150gr of .30-'06 M2 ball, administered at 2570 f.p.s. via M-1 Garand, repeat 40 times for optimum results.
  16. Grey shades are the most common color choice for vehicles for about the last 7 or 8 years. And most people are idiots. Most + Most = Lose for the rest.
  17. HA!! I was just thinking, "Man, those are the same little plastic trim pieces that came around the inside door lock of EVERY late-80s to early-90s Mopar car. Come to that, the pop-up locks look the same too. And hey, the window defroster vent on the top of the door is the same as the ones from my old Avenger...."
  18. I have to admit I like the s2000 lights, or whatever they are and the hood is acceptable. Not my choice of front bumpers, and the fender vents aren't the right shape at all. The rim choice and back end are UTTERLY wrong.
  19. $55k? Why? $30k for *insert-your-choice-of-used-track-monster-here* leaves $20k for REAL track time.
  20. I used to do stuff like that all the time. Not on PURPOSE, mind you, it's just that whenever I crashed it looked like epic stunting.
  21. Punch yourself in the balls as hard as you can. Still notice any back pain? J/K, I've found that sleeping on a flat, hard surface with an electric blanket under me is good for when I wrench up my lower back. Sleep with your back down, and try not to put too much padding under your head. Pop a couple Advil ASAP in the morning, then work as normally as you can.

  23. List is bogus. Has to be. No way in hell were there TWENTY-SIX registered, insured, and RUNNING Ford Scorpios. Nope, ain't buying it.....
  24. NOT these guys, that's for sure: http://www.movieforum.com/movies/wallpapers/comedy/musicbox/images/1024x768.jpg
